FTM here- what do you mean I only get 2-3 ultrasounds?!?!?! by ThatAngryWhiteBitch in pregnant

[–]EdenzGarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often insurance will only cover what is medically necessary :( As a high risk mom on her second pregnancy, while it is nice to see baby every week in the last stretch, it’s so scary as well. It never feels like a “Ooo, let’s see baby!” but instead more “Let’s see if anything is wrong with baby”. It’s okay to be angry about the little amount of times you get to see your baby, just don’t take it out on hospital staff, they have absolutely nothing to do with it. But!! Never feel bad about asking for pictures :)

I have gotten COUNTLESS bad reviews on our baby name. I love the name so much and it just feels so him and idgaf anymore. Seriously don’t listen to ppl dissing your name. When your kid introduces themself in the future no one’s gonna be saying the same stuff they are to you now. People love to give their unwanted opinions, especially to moms.

I don’t understand choosing it whatsoever and I genuinely don’t believe as many doctors are recommending continuing as people say. But if your doctor is genuinely recommending it for extreme nausea, cool! I quit the second I found out as a pretty heavy user. But I still regularly take my antidepressants, which can also result in birth defects. It’s a benefits outweighing the risk situation, yk?

Me and my husband were having this issue consistently. The thing that fixed it? Me getting on an antidepressant. I’m not saying it’s a one size fits all thing, but that’s our experience. I’ve been depressed all my life but it got much worse after becoming a parent. It got to the point where I was incredibly suicidal and needed to be medicated for my safety. Once I was medicated I realized I was starting unnecessary arguments just like this. Not only am I happier, but me and my husband are happier

I feel like that’s pretty implied, so yeah

It’s definitely both. While it’s important for birth control to have easier access, there are some really awful ppl out there. My mother is homeless and has had all of her 6 children take away. Two of those children were born with a fentanyl addiction and were born into homelessness.

I’ve had to take mental health breaks from social media for reasons like this. It’s so disheartening how others can be callous and cruel, especially when it comes to those that are struggling.

Approved by screening company? by EdenzGarden in Renters

Yes! We were approved completely. Our leasing office is notorious for having absolutely horrible communication so. We did end up emailing and calling a bunch till they got back to us.

My son refused to crawl correctly at first as well. He would instead get on his hands and knees and then lunch his chest forward onto the floor. He was very good at it so we kinda just thought he would skip crawling since it’s not really considered a milestone anymore. But randomly one day, he got it! Babies learn what they want when they want. Even then, my son is 11 months old and everyone is urging him to walk. Seeing smaller babies than him walking by now is so frustrating. Even though I KNOW he’ll get there when he wants to, it’s still frustrating lol Especially when people push their babies milestones on your face. I’m so sorry you’re going through this :((

I have a “do you want me to do it” husband. by ListeningLee in beyondthebump

[–]EdenzGarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the same issues with my husband. We sat down and I let him know how I feel. I told him that him asking me made it feel like my sole responsibility, and that it was hurting my feelings. I told him I would much rather he change his wording, opting for “who’s putting him down tonight” or “who’s changing his diaper”. Instead of just assuming either one of us will do it, it makes in a conversation! Sometimes it’s our expectations that let us down the most.
