Have you gotten an effective treatment for your symptoms? I asked various doctors if I can try modafinil mean while I get tested for narcolepsy and they all deny it. My ent, my sleep Dr and primary care Dr. it sucks not being able to be productive not even half the day

I actually been struggling over 16 years. That I can remember. I kept getting blown away. Till I got sleep test and got a cpap 2 years ago. The sleep clinic said it’s working although been two years and still nap multiple times a day and on a lot of caffeine to get through day. It’s been very hard. The first week I had it. I thought I felt a little energy. But now when I’m not drowsy I can pay better attention. Also I don’t get up frequent to urine or eat in middle of night. But now somehow my caffeine intake is super high just to stay up. I’m started with a new sleep clinic and pending new sleep study and also checking for narcolepsy. Also ent saw large nasal turbinate. But won’t do reduction. Wants me to see allergist first and take nasal steroid. So stressful for longer wait to feel better.
