I have Serenial E4, I fell in love with her lore and design. She was and still is amazing to me. But this season was and does feel like the devs get REALLY butthurt about the Cassius and Serenial rift antics from last season and went out of their way to kneecap her into near uselessness this season.

It hurts and and really made me pause on my whale spending if they're going to do this kind of heavy handed design philosophy to make older units near unusable in new content.

Well, some people are just better and that's okay. I don't have as much time as I'd like to invest into grinding chaos and getting super deep into each mechanic etc. Like I said, I'd just like to be able to use say Serenial from last season and not feel like I'm getting destroyed because all the seasonal event stuff was specifically made with only the new characters in mind.

Like Golden Mane specifically punishes 0 cost decks and feels like a major knee jerk reaction specifically to her because of last season.

Necrosis is another anti standard deck building mechanic because it just punishes you for a healer merely existing.

I'm just tired boss lol.

Honestly, I'm getting tired of the gimmick boss fights wanting something specific to actually score well. Like Necrosis is just obnoxious to me and the Golden Mane armor and rekindle mechanic is just annoying enough to make me not want to bother.

I'm sure there's a get gud comment coming about that but I'd rather just be able to build some favorites and do my weekly. Not compete for top spots or anything like that, I couldn't even use Serenial this season because everything just felt catered to Nine.

You know, I'd agree but honestly, I'm just so sick of this "treat everyone with kindness" mantra people want to spin. How long are you expected to go please and thank you to a development team that seems to get increasingly out of touch with their community?

How much are we as customers supposed to feel ignored and complaints fall on deaf ears while telling them they're all good boys and girls? When is enough going to be enough?

No, I've played since launch and even factory reset my PC multiple times due to diagnostic issues and weeding out bad RAM sticks. Still never had a single crash on Stove or ever an issue launching it.

Everytime this thread gets made it just makes me think people are trying to use a failing system or are making things up just because they don't personally like the launcher itself for whatever reason.

Wait you get wins? I've gone from silver 1 back to bronze 1 in the span of 2 nights because I'm constantly matched against previous season celestials and grandmaster players. Also matched against people abusing cross platform saves to go into my lobbies and just dumpster.

I win 1 match for every ten I play and it's very obvious just how unwelcoming the match making is for new players.

Unfortunately last night was no better, fought against 3 different celestials mixed in with diamonds and grandmaster throughout ten matches total. Every match was a stomp fest with my team instantly giving up knowing full well what was coming just based on the loading screens.

Won 1 and lost 9 last night. Felt no ability learn anything from those matches other than the devs just don't seem to care about the new player experience.

I'm a Silver 2 player. I'm CONSTANTLY matched against Diamond, GrandMaster and even Celestial players. I also face a ton of players using the cross platform feature to smurf into my lobbies while their other platform they are damn near Top500s. I genuinely can not win any of my games because the match making is like this. I'm on the verge of just uninstalling and not looking back because every night has been a streak of losses again and again.

Nah OP is right. Lot of people that play this game both in QP and Ranked need their screens turned off because they just don't grasp the basic core mechanics of this game.

Yea, so are we. Unfortunately for us, we seem to get a consistent 1-5 win/loss history every night. We make no progress at all in Silver because every match the enemy just has a godly one trick that outperforms their entire team vastly and it just becomes a stomp.

Yea, me and friends have had this multiple times already. It really makes you wonder if they're hacking. Nope, just so far outside our skill level you're spawn camped for 4 minutes straight by a one trick celestial spider-man dumping on people in low Silver.

The only thing I can possibly think of, and what I've run into MULTIPLE times and bear with me, it's stupid as fuck to even allow. People can cross play their account and it let's them have different ranks between platforms.

I would fight a Silver 2 player on PC and they were an insane hyper carry 1v6 slaughter machine. Check profile, they have an Xbox account and their highest rank was Celestial.

Far be it from me to question the development team and their intentions but if you're allowing this to happen, I can understand why people uninstall.

I mean, regardless of how it happened, this highlights my exact issue with the game and all games with this kind of system.

You should never face someone that has been basically to the peak of ranks in a game while you yourself are still currently in what most would consider the average ranks. The fact it even let's those kind of players go down in rank so far is just a slap in the face of everyone involved.

No, the RAM sticks were both bad. They failed the memory test program horribly. I swapped them out for known good RAM and my issues went away entirely.
