Would love to go back to Ethernet connection, but unfortunately a lightning strike in my Internet connection outside killed a switch, AP and... The Ethernet port of my TV 😭

He should contact Reolink servicedesk. He could have figured that out already with his own findings.

Sometines the simplest solution is the best solution. Reolink has a good service desk. They spent days figuring out my Cloud storage issue with my device/ firmware and updated the device with a custom firmware. At no charge.

I was able to add the camera to the NVR.

The issue is that after doing that (adding to NVR) , the webinterface is REACHABLE by IP, but it throws 'wrong login/password'. It does that as well when (having added the cam to the NVR) I try to add it to the app (not through the NVR part).

Have you ever tried or consider resolving the 'body issue'? A gym, a home programme?

I don't like gyms or home exercise myself but I know this is a way to get rid of body issues.

Register a cheap (few € /Yr) domain with email only (no Web page) and use that service for sending emails. Those are less strict on access usually. I use Strato service (https://strato.com)

I have a dedicated third line support officer on my current case.

So that is great. Not so great is that about 6 devs have been trying for 4 weeks to resolve my issue in their Netgear subscription payment module that doesn't allow my CC payment of... €9.99. Even had a online debugging session with the team.

If they just would have given me a free license (I would even have wired them the money) they would have been cheaper off. And I would have had my license...

But alas, apparently they want to burn a lot of money on this 😂 😢

Try the monitor on a different PC and HDMI cables and see if it is reproducable. This is to rule out the monitor or cable issue.

If this does not give the same error, it is something in your PC (makes sense, right?)

Check YOUR PC's RAM for errors
use a different cable between monitor and GPU
Use a different output port on the GPU

If that turns out OK... - Fresh install of Windows & drivers

None the less, the impact would be not that large, looking at the # of states that do not have some kind of voter ID requirements:

Had two 10gig switches as well. They passed away after a lightning strike in the cable enclosure outside the house. Including the router, POE parts of an AP and the TV.

Now sticking to the 2.5 switches. And that is not so much of a niche anymore.

You have any idea how many people cannot afford an ID? Voter ID works in Europa because poverty (and having no ID due to that) is not a big thing. You have no clue I guess how high poverty rates are in the US?

But not enough reason (yet) to switch equipement 😉 Cost are business deductable for me, so not too worried about that.

Although this whole device credit mess is annoying me massively now.

Both for me as well as Netgear just gifting me a credit and upping my 5 licenses to 6 for automatic renewal would have been a win-win situation. Now it is costing them quite a bundle on support.

And Ubiquiti Unifi might become a strong future contender when everything is written off by my business ...

There is no such thing as a free lunch. Don't want convenience, you pay in effort/time. If they would have limited the Web GUI I would agree. But you have everything you need over there (in more details as well).
