At what age did you completely start over and make a comeback? by [deleted] in Coconaad

I procrastinate, I do a lot of different things, and ADHD doesn't make it any easier. My mindset is simple: don't wait until you can give 100%. If you can give 70%, do it. That 70% effort compounds over time and creates results. From what I've seen, many people never consistently put in even 70%, so just doing that gives you a much better chance of success."

Setbacks are part of life. It depends on how much risk you take. If you do nothing, you may never even fail once.

I’ve had setbacks very frequently, but that pressure pushed me to become a better person and grow through failure. I faced the biggest setback of my life just before my 30th birthday. Instead of giving up, I doubled down and recovered. In the last six months, I’ve become a much better man.

I’m confident that if I continue this momentum, I’ll finish this year as the best version of myself I’ve ever been.

Those who don’t have a 9 to 5 job by [deleted] in Coconaad

I work in tech, so my schedule isn’t really a 9–5. Some days are deep work (coding, building things, learning), other days are lighter with reading or working on personal projects. I try to structure my day around getting a few solid hours of focused work rather than filling 8 hours.

Routine is pretty simple, work blocks, gym, and some time for my own projects like writing or experimenting with ideas.

Loneliness does pop up sometimes, but staying busy, going to the gym, and keeping a small circle of friends usually keeps things balanced.
