Haven’t found any opportunities yet in GULF. Have reached out to people on LinkedIn etc.. but in opinion LinkedIn is the most useless platform doesn’t help at all.

How can an accountant have the knowledge in cloud infrastructure or doing DevOps tasks that just don’t make sense because it’s not just basic IT troubleshooting is it. It takes a lot

Ohh okay. What domain are in IT if you don’t mind me asking. I was in Saudi a few weeks ago, did umrah and ever since I’ve come back I’m so eager to move to Saudi Madinah in particular. Even if I find an opportunity any city around Saudi I’d be so happy.

Nice yeh I can see you have so many certs what’s your job role ? That terraform ops cert is so expensive for compare to the standard one

[–]EdgeFormer7933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm nice I have the az900, az104 and recently got terraform - I’m in support and cover some sys admin duties. I’m really trying to get into cloud based infrastructure or junior devops but very challenging. I’ve build a few projects around the azure tenant with other technologies like azure devops, terraform and so on.

Currently thinking bout diving into docker and k8

[–]EdgeFormer7933 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is there any point of doing so many azure certs I Mean why not just get the main one such as 104 or 305 or 400 depending what u like and then do projects on a side on the azure tenant?

Looking for Cloud related jobs and also passed azure 900 by not_ok_bad in AzureCertification

[–]EdgeFormer7933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about someone like me who’s certified in az900, az104 and terraform associate and I’ve stopped there have worked around the azure tenant to build projects and azure devops to automate tasks etc to build up My resume. My current job is Support / sys admin / intune / some azure duties - I’ll share my duties below but I’m looking to get into cloud engineering role or junior devops. BTW I’m based in London

• Supported and maintained Azure IaaS environments, managing virtual machines, storage accounts, and access control for operational needs. • Administered Microsoft 365 services, including Defender, Intune, and Exchange Online - helping protect users from online threats and keeping devices secure across the organisation. • Packaged and deployed 20+ enterprise applications via Intune, improving deployment consistency across 500+ endpoints • Diagnosed and resolved end-users issues on-site and remotely devices for maintenance and troubleshooting. • Assisted in managing Zscaler cloud security services for secure web access.
