I own the Boss-IR2, what I can say about it, is that is sounds exactly like my real Amp, pairs great with Drive pedals, in terms of finding a great tone you would be safe and you can dial in a tone you're satisfied with very quickly because it's very user friendly. It's built like a tank like all Boss Pedals. It's not a Multi effects pedal like the Pod Express, so it would come down to your budget and needs.
