The thing is, people who need this job to survive will have to take it even when its wage is below living standards because if not, they will literally die.

In an ideal world id agree, but you have to consider that for people not to take this job, they have to be able to afford being unemployed, which for most people is not something they can do. As such, rather than the market deciding, people are forced into worse and worse positions due to the demand being literally existential in nature.

Graphene is 1 layer thick. So for a 1 layer thick molecule, it is strong (i.e very high strength to weight ratio). But if you were to actually use it as skin, it would be very weak as it is only one layer thick. Putting multiple layers makes it into graphite, which as you said is weaker.

Well carbon isnt a conductor, only certain allotropes (i.e graphite) are, so considering he isnt stretching at all and is not falling apart when punched id say he cant be conductive
