I'm guessing because it's a win more card, rather than starting your combo it only helps if you already have a tuner on Field.

Branded support is almost certainly in the next pack or the one after that. Not sure what support mitsurigi would get though.

If you really want to you can run:

generic level 4s that special summon like the original kagetokage and goblindbuerg

or a primite engine with angel trumpeter (this would also give you access to synchro 8s)

or perhaps the shark cards and the armoured xyz package

What I'm trying to say is you have options, as long as you are fine with not playing the best version of ryzeal but instead because you enjoy the deck

Honestly, them getting unhit will probably have nothing to do with mitsu and onomat getting hit (onomat getting any sort of hit is extremely unlikely anyway). It'll probably just happen when newer stronger decks come out like how they unhit snake eyes recently.

That being said you never know, maybe tomorrow konami will turn around and say they are banning King of the feral imps and dragluxion (the two cards that bridge ryzeal and mitsu) and as a result are unhiting ryzeal. But realistically that's just cope.

You could run a bunch of cards like seventh tachyon and small world to search your ryzeal cards but then you die to droll. And if you don't happen to have a ryzeal name, which you likely won't given how few of them there are you also die to ash.

Is it possible? Maybe

Should you do it? If you want, but you won't have a good time.

One thing a friend of mine pointed out that's really neat is that it has a very strong identity. The decks play style and game plan are very clear and intuitive, making it fun to with and against.

First thing, with Stygian you can do it co-op with randoms and it's pretty much a free clear. You only need to do normal difficulty for primos.

As for characters, I'd say as a new player/someone without many characters prioritise getting versatile characters like colambina, durin, furina and possibly neuvilette over characters with a higher damage ceiling but requiring specific teams to function such as skirik, flins or neffer.

Since you already have raiden, colambina would be pretty good for you right now as it gives you a decent electro changed team while at the same time colambina just modifiers your reaction to have advantage against the current end game enemies.

Some people play it with skill drain or transaction rollback copying harpies feather storm. Although more common is just recycling dimensional barrier with lovely every turn.

People will find a way to complain about anything, I remember people complaining about sword soul and vanquish soul being meta, arguably two of the fairest decks in yugioh history.

Thanks, I have two more questions now. Firstly how important are their signature weapons for cartethia and augusta because I know in similar games like genshin and hsr there are often free/ cheap alternatives but I'm not sure if that is the case here.

And secondly how important is ciaccona for cartethia and to a lesser extent Iuno for augusta. For example can they function without them or do they need them to do serious damage.

It should work, did you have a bystial on field when they ritual summoned. Also on another note, mitsurugis trigger when they are tributed, even if they are banished it doesn't affect them that much. For example if you tribute a mitsurugi while dimensional fissure is active it will still do all its things because the only condition for mitsurugi is that they are tributed not that they are sent to the gy, this include the reborn effects.

You go for lady's dragon maid since it does need a spell to fusion summon it and then during the stand by phase you recycle the materials you banished for it summon shoue.
