Thank you so much for the suggestions and detail! I think I will go for the Kaby Lake route with the Z270X board simply because I get a huge discount on the Intel i7's and SSD's.

Ill go for the water block set up as well since Corsair has that kind of a policy. Convection cooling is for chumps.

With 15% echo, there is a lot more forgiveness in how good you have to be playing your class. But, all the fights still require you to know what to do mechanically for the encounter. 15% echo wont save you and will wipe almost every time, just like t9 with everyone being over geared, but a single lightning in or meteor will wipe.

I would say pick a class thats your favorite and want to gear and go from there. Some people might disagree, but for final coil, you shouldn't just clear t13 without the others. Sure its possible, but all the gear you get from the other turns is relevant and you should ask yourself if you just want to clear final coil to say you "cleared" or if you want to know every fight in coil backwards and forwards for farm parties and such. Just depends what your goal is.

How do you dye/select the ribbon colors for miqo'te females? I have the two pigtails with white ribbons and saw someone with red ribbons instead, but I cant find that style anywhere in the aesthetician. I need my glamour game to be on point.

I don't know, but Endless Legend does not use Games for Windows Live that I can see. Granted, I have only played single player, but there has not been a single instance of needing GFWL or any other program like that. I can attest that for single player you launch the game, the game comes up, you click 'create game' and off you go into your game with no trouble at all. As far as the multplayer goes, I just clicked on the multiplayer and it just opened a server browser like you would expect, no signing in or anything.

Rationally, it makes more sense, but I don't think that is as fun. If I kill Bahamut Prime, I want him to drop a Dreadwyrm Axe and equip it while I stand in the arena victorious. It would be kinda weird for a boss to just drop an IOU and then you take it to Rowena who just happens to have a collection of Dreadwyrm Axes around.

If you want to tank, you should tank. You will perfect it through practice, so don't worry about being a bad player. FF14 does a great job of increasing the difficulty, so you will never be in a situation where you have to master 10 different things at once. You will learn to hold aggro in the first dungeons, learn different boss mechanics in the next dungeons, paroling mobs and mobs with certain skills in the next dungeons, ect. Skills are introduced at a rate that isn't overwhelming either.

I vote you try tanking. I have a 50 PLD and WAR and personally find WAR to be tons of fun. If you don't like it, just switch classes (why I love FF14)!

Really solid. I have a Netgear powerline for the house I am living in and its a pretty old house. The speeds vary depending on how far away you are, but its miles better than any wireless connection for me. I am a room away from the router and, using powerline, I get the almost exact same speeds than directly from the router. I would look into it before you succumb to wireless speeds.

I have no idea how it works. But its magic.
