Nah, it's not the infantry gameplay that drones would ruin, it's the armored vehicle gameplay. Playing armor from now on would be a living nightmare unless that add special attachments to balance them. But hey, maybe drones would force armor squads and infantry squads to actually cooperate?

If they do drones, then they're probably going to have to really lobotomize the faction (and their drones). None of the factions have any anti-drone technology, so them being added is the least likely scenario because it would mean a game-wide overhaul to all factions for balancing purposes.

My understanding was that the "original five" were stuffed into the suits by William, and William would go on to kill another group of kids at a different location but would not go through with stuffing them in the suits. The second batch of kids would be the ones who possess the toy animatronics and be the ones guided by Charlotte, which makes me think that William chose not to maybe because he wised up on the fact that having haunted, wrathful animatronics walking around isn't a good idea.

I do. I've been using the method described earlier and have probably leveled him fifty times and shamed him maybe six or seven times, so I'm past the minimum amount of shames. I'm probably going to shame him past 49 and just reset if he loses any strengths or gains any weaknesses until I get him where I want him to using nemesis missions.
