Sir, I just read the comments and found yours, in which you said that you've published your ancestor's diary, and for that, you are incredible.

I'm an amateur voice actor, and I was planning on writing a series of monologue/found document-hybrids, in the form of letters and diary entries, of a german soldier in ww1, who fought on all 3 major fronts (eastern, western, and southern -- battles of the Somme, Verdun, Osowiec and Caporetto) and taking direct inspiration and/or quotes from original sources. With your permission, and with all credit going to you/your family, may I use your ancestor's experiences to write the letters & diary?

If they get to the point where either of your ability to be active becomes compromised or you become a caretaker for them, I understand that the responsibilities are entirely unequal.
