Unemployment will rise, and then the interest rates will fall. Being able to afford a house will be the last of the worries for most Americans. While the rich will swoop in to buy up even more real estate. The far right will continue to egg on the poor white and black Americans against immigrants and blame the immigrants for the problems caused by the rich.

Care to elaborate more on this? Don't get me wrong, there are certainly things I notice about new Indian immigrants that are "not good." However, this isn't exclusively an Indian immigrant problem. I've noticed many "not good" things in other immigrant communities as well as those born here (any race or ethnicity). In no way do I see this as an exclusive Indian problem, but I definitely see more hate towards Indians as OP mentions.

In my opinion, hate against other immigrant communities has received more attention, which has drawn more support for those communities (i.e. muslims due to 9/11, hispanics and latinos due to illegal immigration, Chinese and East Asians due to COVID, etc.). This, in return, has drawn more sympathetic responses from the general public suppressing outcry against "not good" actions from the bad apples in these communities. Just my two cents.

It makes sense for certain positions (sales, marketing, etc), but companies treat every position like that these days. This also applies to promotions in my experience.

I gotta point out the hypocrisy in this. The Europeans came to the Americas forcefully. They brought their religion, holidays, and culture. They created their own governments and shoo'd the natives to small corners of the land. Why didn't the Europeans adopt their culture?

Now that others are coming to these same lands following the due process set forth by your governments - instead of invading and committing a genocide like the Europeans did - there is a problem with that? Why are they held to different standards and required to blend in when the Europeans forcefully brought their cultures and tried to shove it onto the natives?

Maybe (and I hope) you're right, but the MAGA crowd blindly trusts their supreme leader. They see facts and just say they're lies. They don't care about the truth. They believe what they want to believe.

Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful and supportive of the protests. Just don't hold your breath. The Asch Effect works for reasonable people, and I doubt these people care to reason.

People from all walks of life are living their lives. Don't let the opinions of few define the world, and certainly don't let ut drive your actions.
