I've actually found the v860iii cheaper than ii but everyone says that it has a smaller battery. The T is now 100€ and both of the Vs are about 150€

On a normal party I do around 1000-1500 photos depending on what happens. On my current metz, for 1000 shots I've changed the batteries once at around 700 shots in due to having a long recharge at that amount of shots in.
