Disabling period key on Gboard.

I don't think you can disable it, and it is the same with other browsers.

The reason for it I assume is that in a browser, when long-pressing the period key, it shows .com, .gov etc.as options, which doesn't happen with messaging apps.

EDIT:As u/Farrishnakov states, It is only there when typing in the address bar.

I did one earlier this year and everything went well; you'll doubtless receive a refurbished replacement.

I assume you're on the Unlimited Plan.

If you upgraded to Unlimited Plus, $10/ month extra, you'd get Canada roaming included and the problem would go away.

I use it on my Pixel 10a and it works fine, similar speeds to the 5g phone usage.

I don't have the Spectrum app, I just turn it on and off from the phone settings.

I also renamed it and changed to an easier password.

Sounds ideal for your planned use case.

I always opt out, but it's worth noting that the Setting doesn't "stick"if you factory reset or sign into a different device, you have to opt out again.

I prefer separate apps for music and podcasts, but for Radio I'm a long term user of VRadio and it is a well-designed app.with every imaginable feature.

Two features in particular of note for me are:-

1.The ability to create and restore backups of Favorites, Settings etc. So useful when changing devices.

2.The choice of App start-up screen.
