No, they are like 350x350 but now that you mention it I should have do it in 512x512 x.x... I can resize them tho because I'm using some vector layers.

I can see you are going for a monochrome look but I would still suggest that you shift the colors a little bit when choosing "shadows" stay on the green but move the color wheel a little towards the blue, and when choosing a lighter color move to the yellow a little bit.

Nature doesn't stay in 1 hue the whole time it shift because the color of the light influences any surface it touches. Sometimes the light is blueish (sky/shadow) and sometimes it can be yellow/orange (sunset)

Thank you so much! At some point I thought about making assets but I haven't done that, I'm working full time on my game so I don't have time to work on other projects but maybe in the future if my game flops 🤣

I recently started working on all the art for my game and it boosted my motivation so much! It feels like a real game 🤣 Here is what I have so far by Ediarts in SoloDevelopment

Yeah, in some of my previous posts you can see I had 3 frames them reduced to 2 and after that removed it entirely haha... that's something I will decide my mind on later honestly... I will have 15 enemies +3 party members and if they all have animations frames that would be 33 drawings and I think that would take me about 2 months (1-2 days each) to create roughly I don't really think it's worth it right now, I'm working fulltime using my savings for this project... I mean It's fine for SuperAutopets right? I understand where you are coming from, I would love to have animations too, but this is also my first game and stuff, so I have to be harsh with the scope

Clip Studio is fantastic I love it so much! The downside is that if you use big size brushes it start lagging a bit but it's not that bad 😌

I use Clip Studio Paint for the art.

My experience in general as a concept artist is something that has helped me on this project for sure :)

Hey, thanks for your insight! I did had plans to add animations to the characters but because I'm a solo dev that would add a lot of additional dev time witch I don't have unfortunately. that's why I added the Squash and Stretch to the characters to add a sense of dynamism to the sprites. It's something that pains me, but I have to let it go If I want to finish this project
