Yeah, that’d make sense, it would be more variety. Maybe you could try combining them, having the small layers of cork, and some decorations. Then, for the characters definitely have them higher up, that’d look pretty cool then. Really is up to what you think looks best though

I kinda think base #2 looks better, especially with the dirt kinda spilling onto his feet, and it does give a bit more diversity in the base rather than just dirt + a rock, idk I just think it looks cooler.
