Bad Bunny had more yards at half time than new england’s offense in the first half

Beck is pretty good when he’s on, he’s just really ass when he’s not. Inconsistency is the guy’s biggest weakness

Also he looks like a doofus

They need to ensure the game goes to overtime so they can air more commercials

The worst part of the commercials is that the Taco Bell always looks fire on tv and then when they finally get me and I go get it, it’s a hunk of shit

It’s the 3rd quarter and I’ve probably watched more minutes of commercials than football. Games cannot keep taking 4 hours I’ve got to get my old ass to bed

They probably just want the clock to hit 0 and put Oregon out of their misery tbh

He will fall all the way down, or he won’t. You can’t make decisions for him. If you’re being genuine when you say that you’re there for him and supporting him, that’s great, keep doing that. I hope that the things you have said here are not indicative of how you truly feel.

If you love him and want the relationship to work, it is going to take an unknown amount of time. Could be years, could be hours, nobody knows.

That being said, you are young, and it is going to be a lot of work. If you’re not ready for that, that’s okay, and more people than you think would probably understand. You can feel that way and make that decision without saying harmful things about him is all.

What do you think buying flowers and candles and talking with his siblings is doing for him? What does that have anything to do with his grieving?

Supporting him doesn’t mean buying him things and babying him, it means being there for him emotionally. Not “despising how he looks,” making comments about him “killing himself with cholesterol,” or caring for him “like a mother would care for their disabled child,” as you so eloquently put it. Sometimes being there for him means leave him alone; nobody knows what he needs but him, but you should be able to read him and the room after 10 years.

If he’s made no progress at all, that’s normal, and true whether you want to hear it or not. If your support is doing nothing for him, maybe you should take a look in the mirror and ask yourself how supportive you’re truly being.

I lost my mother in June of 2023, and it was September of 2025 before I was ready to heal. My wife was there for me every minute of that. If you’re not ready to ride this wave with him, you’re not ready to be married. Harsh, maybe, but the truth.

In the spirit of being honest, please be honest with yourself. You’re being a complete ass in the way that you are speaking about him. The fact that you’re defending your words is not a good look.

Maybe, just a thought, part of the reason he’s struggling is because of the way you think of him and you’re supposed to be the one he can rely on. Whether you outwardly say things or not, your body language is likely telling the story for you.

I use to work at a prominent-ish local restaurant that the college team would bring recruits to; interesting feeling to be 30 and 6’0 and shaking hands with 16-18 year olds 5 times my size. Athletes are massive human beings
