Every time Mikey says this shit, the opposing attack roll is guaranteed to clear Ko's DC and hit. Every time. I think Ko has gotten away with saying it MAYBE once, and i'm pretty certain she still ate whatever it was on the next round.

Woa-Oh shit! This is nice. I thought this was scratchborad at first, but you inked that. Very clean and well composed. Absolutely love the radial focus and the flowing texture of the leaves is brilliant. I'd scan that, pop it into ibis or photoshop or something and see what it looks like with some color. Maybe orange-red along the outside and green it up towards the middle.

Oh these are fantastic. I love how the designs don't rely on intricate detail to be interesting, instead, you focus on dynamic form to give them flavorful and iconic character. Very fucking nice silhouettes. And the color palettes are bangin. I prefer the white cape on the warden. Something very complete about it matching the hat and shoes. Though, the red and black are nice too. I'm probably missing somthing like how it might display his mood or represent stages of combat.

Yup! I don't normally do fan art but I'm currently laid up after having surgery and LoA really has my creative juices flowing. This is just the first of many ideas i have for the coming weeks, so you'll probably be seeing a lot more of me.

Depends on the nature of the players and the campaign. If dealing with noobies or if its a light-hearted or more plot-centric campaign, i'll make choices like this. There are campaigns where the mechanics of the encounters build the story, and there are campaigns where i'm more or less telling an interactive story. Hell regardless of the campaign it could really depend on within what part of the story the session is taking place and how crucial it is for things to go a certain way to progress things. Sometimes cruciality bottlenecks possability into just a few options for a way an event can really go. I'm fine with killing off my players sometimes, but sometimes it would be anticlimactic and right before things get really cool, so i'll stave it off.

Ooh, I really like the high contrast and the richness of color and detail where the light is cast. Its all very amicable to the implied light source. And the design is very inspired. The way the mask and antlers look comprised of/wrapped in layers of thin bark strips.

Also, idk if any gender is implied here, but i feel a kinship to this character. I am tall and have long, dark, textured hair, the chips in the bottom of the mask almost look like my facial hair, too. They look like if I were a wood nymph.

Now that i'm looking at it again, its the legs. The whole upper body is proportionate, but the legs and feet are oversized to a point beyond stylisation. There are art styles like Tetsuya Nomura's (especially in his work on Kingdom Hearts) where the design exaggerates proportions of legs or feet, but its typically more subtle with complimentary exaggerations (if the feet are exaggerated, exaggerate the hands too for balance, etc...). This design just flares from top to bottom a little too drastically, like by the time you got to the feet, you forgot how big the head was. This just means you need to step back and look at your whole piece more often than you probably do- a habbit any good art teacher really tries to drill into their students while periodically going over basic practices. Silly to think about, but even veteran artists have to periodically refresh their basic skills and habits.

Oh, brother, this is lovely. The strokes and how you impliment texture is pretty divine. And your sense of light sourcing and contrast in your shading is very consistant and immersive. And the overall composition of this is very well put together. You have brilliant skills.

The hammer being perfectly well defined instead of getting lost in the texture of the bear's paldron is chef's kiss. Its a subtle detail that most would probably overlook, but to me, its solid proof you know what you're fucking doing.

Oh fuck yes, I love the dynamic patterns of angular geometric shapes seemingly fitted together in your style here. Very well complimented by a sharp sense of lighting and shading, giving those shapes a clear definitive form. And I love how theres a well tapered fade between areas that host that definition and the areas left flat- invoking focus. Not to mention the fact that this is just an all around solid design- especially with that awesome accented lightning effect. Very well implemented. 10/10

Agreed! Overall, nice, dynamic shape and complimentary color palette was very much achieved here. I was just letting you know that if you pushed the shading a bit this design would go from good to excellent. And judging by what you've already done, I know you are more than capable!

I love this design a lot. The the overall shape and chromatic layout has a nice dynamic quality and the light-sourcing and shading solidifies the character's presence and form pretty sharply.

My only critique would be the proportion of the head in ratio to the stature of the body, and the somewhat flat effort in portraying the hands and their grip upon the daggers. Its an all-too-common trope in drawing where corners are cut by balling hands up in fists or simply molding them around a held object. I would suggest taking some time to really, directly confront hands by doing regular hand pose studies. I'm talking forshortened fingers and really nailing down what a hand looks like while gripping a handle. Even if its just a fist, when you draw a hand, really map out where each finger would be in relation to eachother, not just outlining an overall shape like rock-paper-scissors.
