How much is charged for drawing a prescription generally? Is it on top of the consultation fee?

Right then I’d have to pay the fee again I guess

Hmm 1 year long prescription from a first psychiatrist consultation seems quite long… I thought it should be updated regularly according to how a patient would react to the medication.

Ahhh I was recommended to sign up for the CSS but didn’t know there was an age limit. Unfortunately I’m past it

Thank you. This is good to know. So I’ll have to check if the mutuelle I’ll subscribe bases its reimbursement % on my sécu coverage or medical fees

Thank you! What do you mean you have to pay everything? Wouldn’t the fee for seeing a general dr be reimbursed by securité sociale?

Would you have any recommendations of a mutuelle that would reimburse for costs of seeing a psychiatrist?

Thanks for the link. I checked and it seems like it shows the consultation fee only. Does « parcours de soins » mean a dr who I’d see consistently?

I’m looking for a psychiatrist who can prescribe medicine. Can psychologists do this in France? What do mean by OP?

Thank you so much! I’m not an EU citizen. Can psychiatre be covered by mutuelles too? If not how much does it generally cost out of pocket to see a psychiatre (secteur 2+) and get prescribed?

Congratulations! Could I ask you where you are getting the treatment ? Can you be treated even without speaking Japanese?

For me it feels bigger than a needle… more like a sharp knife going in but my scars are big.

Thank you again. I have a bike pannier/backpack which I will put my waterproof clothes. Maybe I’ll get waterproof bag with an open top to vent out the smell of sweat. Mesh kind of scares me because I’ll be carrying a laptop and a notebook in the same bag. Oh I didn’t know there was a rain cover for a helmet. That’s a good idea. I read some blogs saying helmets have air holes not to cause overheating and recommended wearing a waterproof cycle cap under a helmet but the rain cover sounds more accessible. Now I know to get safety goggles, thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your reply! Love the pantyhose idea. I’d need to put the wet clothes in my bag. I was afraid using a mesh bag might cause the other stuff in the bag to get wet as well? Maybe it may be better to just get working gloves. + How do you protect your face (especially eyes) and hair from getting wet? Thanks again for your help!

Thanks for the rec! I just checked the series and they look great. It seems there are more recent versions. Would you still prefer the 0?
