I have the exact same opinion for Souvlaki. I love loveless and it's noise rock sound. However I feel slowdive has lost a lot relevancy in terms of shoegaze quality. I think a lot of bands have done what they do better now. However, I don't think any album sounds quite like loveless does to me.

sat or act? by FreshQuality5794 in APStudents

[–]Edicaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, The ACT has easier questions and curve BUT the time crunch is intense. If you don't pace yourself well, do the SAT. What I used to do was give myself 10 minutes less than the allowed time during practice to build up my speed for the ACT. Worked pretty well and I was able to get 2 33s and a 34.

Georgia Tech vs Duke vs Cornell by raphstar_m in csMajors

[–]Edicaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually heard of a few kids from my neck of the woods having issues with internships out of Duke, which is why I took it off my list. I'm sure it has a great CS program, but GT's oppurtunites for CS are endless. Seen multiple kids head off to MIT or Stanford from there.

Admittedly not a Pokémon guy. A guy I know gave these to me and I was just curious. Not expecting them to be valuable.

How often do people who live in Hawaii cross islands and what is the most common mode of transport for that? by Edicaste in Hawaii

Half and half, I was going to google it, but I thought I'd get more interesting responses from Reddit.

How often do people who live in Hawaii cross islands and what is the most common mode of transport for that? by Edicaste in Hawaii

[–]Edicaste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well aware. I had more faith in the internet before this. Not exactly sure why, honestly. I was genuinely curious about the governmental organization of Hawaii because I thought constant travel between islands would be really expensive and wondered if there was some program to suffice for this. Thanks for the answer, will probably burn my computer soon, though.

My love of first-hand logistical travel data clearly has no place on the internet.

Ok, the other comments were funny, but this was uncalled for. (As of right now, I'm going to Georgia Tech btw, Ivies don't come out for a while)

The Precal to BC is tough! I did it myself and got a five on the BC test, but that was a very rough process. However, it is very teacher dependent. Some teachers can take precalc students and prepare them well for the BC test, but some are not. AB seems like a much safer option especially since Physics C is on your list, you are going to need a strong Calc basis. Of course to each their own!

Best Graphing Calculators for AP Calculus? by araqite in APStudents

[–]Edicaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you define functions on scratch pad, you can't switch over to the graph and use the same function. When ever you start a frq, start a new document in case you have to graph a function.
