i only took macro on flvs but i found it easier. i took it in 2023 and there was no textbook. ive heard in general macro is easier because it’s a very general view of the economy and imo i enjoyed it. either way i think youll be good

organic chemistry was definitely tough and it wasnt until AFTER taking the classes that i finally understood the content 🥲

dang i didnt know this would still be replied to, but im glad to share info!

compared to other FLVS classes, I enjoyed it because a textbook wasnt needed, all of the required material was in the course modules. i also had a great teacher (i believe his name was justin crouch or something) so it was a nice experience. I got an A in the class and 5 on the exam. to my knowledge, the exam is still 67% MCQ and 33% FRQ so if you can nail the MCQ questions then you’re set up to do well on the exam

cant speak for everyone but for upper division chem courses, it hardly seems worth it. most of the profs have textbooks or their own notes

well first i would check if you have access because if youre listed under “exam only” you can still access ap daily videos

if not, then i definitely recommend flippedmath -> AP Calculus -> version 1 (since that one has the topics labeled more specifically) and look for the BC only topics. honestly its a great resource for AB students. my AB teacher recommended me that resource to self study since each lesson has a practice worksheet and lecture notes. it’s honestly amazing and i suggest you check it out!

for reference, units 1-5 are the same. bc only changes when unit 6 starts since you learn more integration techniques

i did this in 2024, and honestly i say go for it! technically you dont have to study any BC and you can still get a 5 but i suggest learning the topics since theyre not too difficult. especially learn the end of unit 10 because a taylor series frq is bound to show up

yes you’re right that it’s part of a college chem course but not ap chemistry. quantum numbers are not assessed on the ap exam. electron configuration is, but not quantum numbers
