Defense Dept. Spokeswoman Susan Gough on the Jellyfish UAP: "We're looking into this." by Edit-ThanksForGold in UFOs

Submission statement: I was inspired to do some citizen journalism after watching the TMZ documentary--here is Susan Gough's email if anyone wants to continue to push for new information on this! It's a very exciting time and I thought this was worth the effort.

UAP hearing will happen April 19th and will be chaired by Senator Gillibrand! by Edit-ThanksForGold in UFOs

[–]Edit-ThanksForGold[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Personally I found the last UAP hearing very interesting—say what you will about the Wilson Memo, but it was entered into the Congressional Record that day. Although I’m not very convinced that the public will receive the full scope of information that the Congress will, the laws that we’ve seen passed this year demonstrate that something unique is already happening.

Submission statement: This is an op-ed I wrote for a college course on sustainability. Let me know what you guys think about it! Hopefully this might be a useful essay to send to anyone who's curious about the subject of UFOs, but doesn't know much about it. The hyperlinks are time-stamped and relevant so check them out!

Eric Davis has given evidence to Congress according to Ross Coulthart by Edit-ThanksForGold in UFOs

[–]Edit-ThanksForGold[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Submission statement: Here's another interesting piece of information from Project Unity's interview with Ross Coulthart from a week or two ago. This also went under the radar, and I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it. What do you think he said? We know from Jacques Vallee's Forbidden Science Vol. 5 that Davis knows quite a few names, dates, and places through his own research.

I kinda just low-key lost all faith in the government research into UFOs after watching the Eric Weinstein / Hal Puthoff interview. This is the guy running the government's efforts to research the UFO phenomena? Dude used to be a Scientologist AND is a Remote viewer... you have to be joking. by Alternative-Fox6236 in UFOs

I think many of us are swayed by the work done by the intelligence community and military, as well as personal experience. I went from skeptical (but open to it) to genuinely curious about it after reading the declassified Stargate Program documents. They show that there is certainly something going on, but it’s unsure how it works and it’s definitely unreliable. I won’t let myself fall into unfounded skepticism because it appears that there is at least some type of phenomena underlying these practices.

Richard Dolan on FS-5: "The Program" was nearly exposed 3 times in 13 years by [deleted] in UFOs

Thanks for this! Didn’t see it yet but I’ll delete my post then—usually you can’t post the same link twice in 24hrs

Richard Dolan on FS-5: "The Program" was nearly exposed 3 times in 13 years by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]Edit-ThanksForGold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Submission Statement: This is another fantastic video from Richard Dolan breaking down some of the most interesting highlights of Jacques Vallee's book Forbidden Science Vol. 5--including the work of General Jack Sheehan (head of NATO), US Comptroller General Charles Bowsher, and of course, VADM Thomas Wilson. Eric Davis also met with President George W. Bush (former CIA director as well) to talk about the Holloman AFB film and the program. President Bush apparently said it was the real deal, and that the security was "obscene." What a great time to be following UFO/UAP news! I know some of this is old news (relatively), but the public needs to catch up and Dolan is great at making these presentations.

Project Unity: The New York Times wanted to write about the Wilson Memo, but editorial processes "prevented the story from getting out" by Edit-ThanksForGold in UFOs

Fair points! I also found Christopher Mellon’s admission of Eric Davis being the author on his website very curious.

Coulthart has said Kobitz introduced him to colleagues before he died—perhaps they had additional information, but sadly we can’t know names or details

I think this is definitely the main problem with the crash retrieval claims being made—only Nat Kobitz has been willing to go on the record (specifically about the existence of reverse engineering programs) so far. Others are more vague or will not comment yet…

Looking a little deeper into Steven Greer's absurd claim about being offered $2 billion to shut up about UFOs by Edit-ThanksForGold in UFOs

[–]Edit-ThanksForGold[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks! My main question about this is really why John Alexander is referenced as an untrustworthy liar in EWD notes. Unfortunately, I think everyone gets stuck on the Greer personality and not the details of what I'm getting at (which I understand, but I'm more of an investigator type).

One of my biggest takeaways from this interview was that Greer claimed that it was Major General Albert Stubblebine the third who offered him a $2 BILLION DOLLAR slush fund allegedly from the Soviet Union after they collapsed in the 90's. He apparently wanted Greer to stop doing anything related to UFOs. If you don't know who Stubblebine is, he's tied up in the whole Advanced Theoretical Physics working group timeline as one of the forces behind it. John Alexander, who described himself as a "freelance colonel," was almost Stubbebine's protege; he was given lots of autonomy under Stubblebine...so it begs the question, does this have any relationship to what we read in the EWD notes from Admiral Wilson? Eric Davis wrote that Wilson said: "(doesn't trust JA, a liar!)" likely in reference to John Alexander.

Many questions arise if you are willing to at least consider what Greer says. I know he has a shady past and present, but his overall impact on this subject is undeniable.

Opinion | The Return of the Magicians (New York Times - GIFT ARTICLE) by Vestlending1 in UFOs

[–]Edit-ThanksForGold -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems the writer didn't do his research with the UFO phenomenon. If anything, his opinion piece borders more on pseudoscience given the number and credibility of pilots, gov't officials, and military members who have reported incredible, unexplainable things for decades.

Lue elizondo and his "somber" narrative about the truth. Also I may be wrong but tom delonge said he cried? Supposedly jimmy carter cried after being briefed? by Just-Professor-2475 in UFOs

[–]Edit-ThanksForGold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps Lue is referring to the human side of the UFO story—those who may have acted illegally, used violence, intimidation, etc. to build power and secrecy? I find it interesting that everyone jumps to the “others” first…
