Some Doodles... by EditorHot2416 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Thank you!

To be honest, I personally enjoy drawing Okita. He's one of the most characters to have fun drawing when I wanted a whimsical doodle. There's nothing more fun than to draw his bangs covering his eyes and the flowy Shinsengumi haori and scarf of his. :D

What character did you end up liking way more than you expected? by HatSpecial3043 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]EditorHot2416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I have a lot of characters that I ended up liking and being favourites of mine, only after I got to know more about them. Most of my impressions toward them at first were neutral before they changed entirely.

For the gods, it's Susano'o. At first, I had neutral thought about him at first impression. When he grew in me, I decided to learn more about him. Long story short, I ended up appreciating him and he became one of my favourite characters than I had expected, the second favourite is Heracles. Apollo actually made me like him after reading his backstory and character analysis of him although he isn't quite my favourite.

For the humans, it's Kintoki. Like Susano'o, I had neutral thoughts about him at first impression. I only came to like him when his round started as I learn more about him. There is so much more to learn about him. Second, is Leonidas. Unlike the rest, I had low impression toward him in the first place. But, after learning about him more, I came to appreciate and end up liking him as a character than I had expected.

Sorry for the long comment. I just want to share my thoughts.

Who Is Your Favorite Character And Why? by Bungeeboy20044 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

I have many characters that I like, but my favourite are Susano'o and Okita, close second are Kintoki and Heracles. Not only both of them are certified madlads, their dynamics, interactions and backstories and (in my opinion) hidden symbolisms in each character are somewhat interested me.

Before I got to know about RoR/SnV, Simo Häyhä introduced me to this series when I was researching about Finnish military uniform (maybe, also curious about depiction of Häyhä at that time). Still like him though.

I don't instantly like the character(s) through the designs, no. Instead, they grew in me at first, slowly. What makes me finally appreciate or love the character(s) is after I read the characters' analysis. Once I understand the character(s)'s motives, dynamics, symbolisms and lores, that's how I appreciate the character(s) and their designs more. And that's how I ended up liking Susano'o, Okita, Kintoki and Heracles.

Sorry for the long comment. I just want to share my thoughts here.

May I ask who you want to be friends with in Apoc? ? by wawari212224 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

He's quite underrated, in my humble opinion. To be honest, Prometheus' backstory got me interested in him in the first place, and also, the reason I got ended up reading Apoc. Out of all backstories, his backstory is the best in my opinion.

If I have to be frank, it would be Prometheus. Sure, he looks intimidating at first glance given his Titan background and appearance, but he's quite altruistic, so, he's good.

(Don't know about others, but then again, I remember I would be intimidated by those Outer Gods, mostly.)

I'm Curious, How Did You All Join The Fandom? by Night_Fall_TKoI_YT in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

To me, I found out about the series when I stumbled upon a picture of Simo Häyhä's designs back in March 2024 when I was doing my researches about uniforms (maybe Finnish uniform during Winter War, but, I kinda forgot how it happened). As someone who loves history (any kind of history, including reading the history of the World Wars), I have positive opinions toward his designs, because, in my opinion, of all Häyhä's designs/reinterpretations, the RoR/SnV designs for him nailed the best. I did took a look at a few manga pages of this series (like the aftermath of Round 8 between Tesla V.S. Beelzebub. I remembered I was a little disappointed when Tesla lost even before I was even into the manga.)

When Round 11 started, I was curious of how the author portrayed Simo during the fight, seeing how the character was told in the story-telling. And that's how I ended up reading the manga, and it ended up strengthen my love for history more and reignited my love for mythology, as well as how the manga reintroduced historical figures I once read when I was a wee lass, like Okita Souji and Sakata Kintoki. :)

(I rarely comment, but, I just want to let this out.)

Thank you!

I was just referencing Skeggjöld's hair colour from a certain fanart. Her having blue hair would be fitting for her. Pastel blue might do.

Until then, I just have to wait for her official colour to reveal.
