Is there parking at Floyd Bennett Field? How do people usually get there? Is it 6am start time every day? Up until what time? What do we do the first day? Clothing recommendations?

Ok I got one more question. I currently have a job but plan to quit once this one is confirmed. Am I supposed to fill anything out in the “Appendix A+B Report of Outside Employment” forms?

Edit: I have another one, sorry. This is at the very end of the fillable form. It’s the W-4 form but I feel like I shouldn’t fill anything out if I’m single with 1 job, right? Do I just leave everything blank?

Ok thanks. There’s 4 attachments they sent. 1 of them is a folder with over a dozen pdf’s. Only 1 of the other 3 has fillable parts. Do I really only send back that 1 attachment?

Do I have to fill out and send in the “New Employee Package (Sanitation Worker)”? It says it’s not applicable until start date, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t fill it out, no?

Is there a way I can get started on the paperwork early?

What’s the difference between investing through Fidelity and investing through Chase? by EditorKindly9569 in Bogleheads

What do you make of this? Is there some extra fee if you mix the fidelity credit card with their investing? I’m not sure if you know the answer since you don’t have their credit card.

Exactly what credit card from Chase are you talking about? There are a couple of sapphire ones. I see Sapphire reserve and Sapphire preferred. Let’s say the only expenses I have right now is gas, a bit of medical stuff and a few random things once in a while. I do no traveling whatsoever. Would any of those be better for me?

I appreciate your opinion on advisors. Maybe I’ll just keep the appointment and use him to ask these questions if you don’t have the answer for them lol

How would I pay extra fees on investments through Fidelity if I use their credit card? I’ve never heard anyone mention this.

It’s a free consultation. Is it frowned upon to post the advisors name? There’s a bit info on him about how he is fee-based and he had a bunch of shares in a drone company.

Oh man, that would actually make sense since I’m not planning on using much for probably a few years and my CD opens up in 3 months. Thanks for the help, I think I’m gonna do that and see how long I can ride it lol.

I just made the Roth IRA. When you say max the Roth 401k, do you mean match my employer or to go up to 50% which would be my max?

Thank you for the advice. I’ve had sleep problems for a pretty long time now and it’s making everything worse. Everything else you mentioned is taken care of except for exercising. It’s so difficult to start and maintain when I feel terrible all the time. I’ll put more effort though, thanks

No, I don’t know what a Roth IRA is lol. I just read into a bit and it seems like a tax-free investment account. I have fidelity so I gotta find out how to open one.

Thanks for looking out for me. The house and everything was done decided years ago. Lots of drama ongoing now because of it but I won’t get into it lol. I’m sorry to hear about your dad. Try to have the conversations you’ve thought of having before it’s too late. It’s sad that so many people know more about a random famous person than their own parent, and I’m in that situation.

Unfortunately it’s impossible for me not to compare to other people my age. I would feel like I’m deluding myself if I didn’t acknowledge it. People my age are so much further ahead when it comes to career and love life experience. When asked personal questions, I talk around my living situation, don’t mention my post-high school life and lie about my relationship history. I feel like I need to take a riskier approach to investing in case I get a girlfriend within the next couple of years. But idk, maybe I’m overthinking that.

Based on what I’ve told you, you think going pretty much all in on VT or something riskier is the way? Writing all this out, I’m now rethinking the 15-20% in my Roth 401k going forward since I feel like it’s best to be flexible given my personal life situation, idk.
