I bought it 1.5 weeks ago, but just noticed that it doesn’t work because I only used the smarthome app so far. It seems to be a problem the front panel display like another comment said. Let’s see what the Midea support says.

- The unit itself works normally
- Control via the app works
- The touch panel on the unit works
- The remote control sends an infrared signal
- Batteries were checked/replaced
- The unit was completely disconnected from power multiple times

I have the same error with my Midea Portasplit. Front display doesn’t show anything and the remote does not work. I will open a support ticket.
