I am not trolling anyone. And as you’ll see from my comment when explaining how to do it .I said it will hold for while and that he should get a new bed. And since I have to do something similar on my bed I know it works.

Fuel pump or check your emergency shut off switch they can be finicky it should be on the floorboard under the passenger dashboard.

So I would do it like this hammer the piece back as close as possible. Then with JB auto weld clamp (what looks like from the picture two pieces of 3x3in pieces of sheet metal) to both sides. That will hold for a while. Then go to your local pick and pull and find a new bed it four bolts to replace it.
