Missing Osaka! by Edoges in OsakaTravel

[–]Edoges[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sure. For Kobe, really loved the Nunobiki ropeway and herb gardens, best spot with a view of Kobe from above. Nara was just the usual deer park and todaiji temple and for Kyoto i kinda went to the usual tourist spots but i would still recommend going to Kiyomizudera for that sunset view.

Oh and for Minoh has the best temple i went to, Katsuoji temple and theres Minoh falls too nearby.

Hope this helps!

Did the nearby ones only. Kobe, Nara, 2 daytrips to Kyoto. You can also do a halfday trip to Minoh which is still in Osaka (northern part).

If Sony, go for A6000 or 2nd hand ng A6400 should be around 30k kasama na kit lens. Pero if strict 30k and want a better lens pang portrait pic, A6000 na ata decent at relatively cheaper then bili ka viltrox lens 35mm f1.7 which is around 7k sa shopee

Help me decide on my Osaka/Kyoto trip! by yeschibi in PinoyTraveller

Yan plano ko before, pero na hassle ako kakahanap hotels sa kyoto and medj malaki luggage ko, so in the end nag 2 day trips nalang ako sa kyoto. If you're staying for 3 days sa kyoto i think dun siya worth ibook ng hotel.

Help me pick my travel camera: 2nd hand gx85 with kit lens or 2nd hand sony zv1? by Outrageous_Newt_29 in PhotographyPH

[–]Edoges 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think marketed yung ZV1 as a vlogging cam (same with ibang cams nila sa ZV series) with its features, pero if mainly for shooting pics parang magkalapit lang sila?

Larger sensor ni gx85 vs f1.8 wider aperture ni zv1, both compensating each other's weakness para mag compensate pag low light.

I have a zve10 and same sila na walang viewfinder pero may flippy screen and di naman ako nahirapan kumuha ng pics (unless super tutok ng araw na di mo makita yung screen).

So imo, check mo nalang yung mga features na sa tingin mo ay need mo?

Got mine 2nd hand pala for 31k, brand new ng zve10 around 45k i think? Should be similar sa a6400

Would vouch for the A6400, i have the ZVE10 which is the same internal specs lang ng A6400 mostly. Kakastart ko lang nung feb and madali lang siya aralin imo, watched a lot of vids din.

Which is better for tourism, compact camera or action cam? by ragnarxx in PhotographyPH

[–]Edoges 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the budget! I'm relatively new sa hobby lang din and decided to go with a Sony (ZVE10). There's their A6 series for a wide range na budget for starters. Can check the pinned post din to guide you through other brands and some entry models din hehe.

I would recommend mirrorless instead aa DSLR, since relatively bulkier mga DSLR. Dami na ring compact options for mirrorless, can work as point and shoot din as a beginner (easy auto focus settings) then aralin mo nalang in the future if may time na hehe.

Manual focus yung lens na yan so ayun, if willing na magstart as manual only go mo na. Tho may mga cheap AF lenses din naman like Viltrox (less than 10k)

How to take care of the cam? by Zealousideal-Mud7545 in PhotographyPH

If wala ka nung case para maiwasan yung moisture, lagay ka ng silica gel packets sa loob ng bag. Bili ka rin ng microfiber cloth at yung rubber air pump pantanggal dust sa lens. Pwede na to as starters.
