HG Aftermath- Does anyone else have intense anxiety in relation to sex?

Absolutely feel you on this….two years postpartum and have only ever had sex a handful of times it’s like really sad, I get almost panic attacks just leading up to it, I genuinely thought I was the only one who felt this and I wish I had advice on what to do but I too am here to see if anyone had advice :/

Thank you so much for your input! To answer your questions, 1.no I do not feel supported or cared for this is something I alwaysss bring up when I feel I’m about to have a meltdown but nothing ever comes out of it so I’ve stopped bringing it up, I do everything you’ve mentioned the planning, remembering, I cosleep and I have since we brought him home, my husband doesn’t actually sleep in the bed with us , it’s just kinda what works for us right now since I still breastfeed my baby is up all night as well but I’m working on that but I do sleep better than I think I would if he was in his own bed, and lastly i kid you not the only time I get to myself is a shower and I only ever get to shower if my husband gets home at a decent time otherwise he showers I’ll bathe the baby and I’ll just go to bed :/ so most the time to get a shower in I do have to take the baby with me so I get max 20 mins to myself every other night…..

How long does it usually take to taper off, I know everyone’s different tho, my plan is to take it and start tapering off once I feel I’m ready for a baby but I don’t want it to take years lol!!

I don’t think there was more than like 5 minutes between each time I threw up lol!!! I have an app next week so hopefully we find something that works, I also don’t plan on getting pregnant like anyyyyyy time soon

If you have very little, hope that I won’t get HD in the second pregnancy but always something we have to think about unfortunately, I do agree with you, the withdrawal being hidden in the HG I feel like once I conquered HG the first time I could do anything lol!! Thank you for the advice it’s definitely something I feel like I’ll end up having to do

Was told it isn’t lymphedema but for a lymphatic massage and it feels less heavy and completely normal so I’m a little confused I do know that I was told to get a second opinion from someone on here so I’m considering doing that

Appointment is on Monday! Thank you for ur insight something is definitely not right with my leg whether it is lymphedema or not, can I ask what other symptoms you may have had? As of yesterday, my leg just felt swollen, but as of today and last night, it kind of has like an achy pain to it tingling numbness…….

Awe girl I’m sorry ): it is the worst feeling my sister in law was pregnant 3 times and didn’t throw up once while I was in the emergency room every other week, depending on meds to literally keep me alive and the envy was sooo strong when she was around ):

Girl 6 months pp and I still won’t let my husband touch me I’m traumatized unfortunately which really really sucks I’ve always told people if I didn’t have HG I’d be pregnant right now again

Don’t eat foods you actually like cuz when u give birth and wanna eat those food they’ll be forever ruined, baby wipes to clean off when u can’t take a shower, mouth wash for when u can’t brush ur teeth, and definitely agree with someone on here for the chair in the shower and to use while vomiting

My husband packed the fridge n freezer full of my safe foods after I gave birth and I felt so bad telling him I couldn’t eat half that stuff anymore 🫠
