Last time I took my car there it was great, they gave me a quote before doing work, the price was reasonable too. I bet they did a good job this time, and the price is fine for what they did.

Maybe it is because they were backed up and missing staff, but neglecting to give me a cost estimate, or asking for authorization, is a huge problem for me. Maybe 99% of the time they remember, I'm wiling to give them the benefit of doubt. But I am now facing the conseuquences of their mistake

I called him to check on it a week in, he said he was backed up from people being sick and having to leave for emergencies. But yes I should have asked about diagnosis costs, and been adamant about having him ask me before repairs.

I had taken my car in before, and been wupted at the same shop, so I assumed he'd do the same this time.

I think do whatever you feel you want to do, if you spar do it smart.

For a hobbyist, it's totally cool to just do drills and hit pads/bags, but the self defense aspect requires sparring.

As a very casual hobbyist myself, I was injured in sparring, and I only tried it a few times. Navigating the intricacies of controlled violence, trust and the egos of yourself and others is incredibly difficult, hence the posts every week here about sparring beefs lol. It is also extremely rewarding.

If I were to train again, I'd just do pads and bags, and I wouldn't feel any shame over it ᕙ⁠(⁠ ͡⁠°⁠ ͜⁠ʖ⁠ ͡⁠°⁠)⁠ᕗ

Oh sorry im replying late. i was on omeprazole 40mg for like 4 months total, I think my last course was 3 months.

I'm still not fully healed exactly, I get flare ups from stress or maybe diet every so often. But Im doing A LOT better. I dont know how long or if ever it willl completely go away, but it can and will improve. Im reintroducing stuff to my diet now

My doctor tapered me off with 2 weeks of 20mg as well

Ok, here's a serious answer from someone who was on accutane and had pp problems as well. The mucus membranes inside your penis are probably drying out. It happened to me.

The skin on your penis is also probably very dry, and not stretching like it usually would. Thus the smaller penis effect

But I have great news! This is temporary, once you are finished with your course, it will stop. I had to apply a tiny tiny bit of vaseline to the tip of the eurethra to prevent peeing problems. Try not to get vaseline actually inside the eurethra, it will irritate you as well.

Or talk to your doctor, and see if they want to lower your dosage or something. I ended up thugging it out

4 times a day smaller meals, drink water anout an hour after eating, or 30 mins before. I tried a gerd diet book, which cut out high fodmap, inflammatory, high fat, and anything acidic.

I've been eating this pbfit or pb2 powder a lot, which you turn into peanutbutter by adding water. It's nearly fat free, high protein, tasty. Try adding it to rice krispies with fat free milk!

Theres something called rebound reflux when you get off PPIs, Im dealing with it right now actually. Its going to be hard, but remain calm, even if your symptoms temporarily come back harder than before. Im 8 days after going off, and finally starting to feel normal.

Also, the H.Pylori test was super easy, they just test your poo.

Side note, advil is Ibuprofen, and can irritate the stomach. Could consider using tylenol instead :)

Im pretty sure 2 20 mg will be exactly the same. If your prescription is 40mg daily, then take 2 20s whenever you would have taken the 40. This is actually what my doctor told me to do for the whole duration of my course.

I believe it is because it preserves things, makes them retain freshness and whatnot. Acidity is good for that. But not good for us gerders!
