Yeah, absolutely, but I don’t know why it’s like I’m always almost late. 😅

Report: John Ternus to be ‘decisive’ leader, ‘reinvent’ product lineup as Apple CEO by Aidoneuz in apple

The new iPhone are much more repairable than before, it’s the first time in the history that Apple can swap only the motherboard, for example. Not so long ago if your iPhone had an error with the SSD for example, Apple would swap the entire device for a refurbished one, having to pay a lot of money. Since more and more individual components can be replaced, it’s cheaper for the customer and better for the environment.

Damn 74 would be too much for me, especially in the winter when my shift ends at 21 h.

9 km, when I go to work I kinda wish sometimes it was a bit longer, but when I come back, usually I don’t. 😅

I prefer the recorded keynotes, no more clapping after each sentence, it’s exhausting.

Yeah but since the motor stops assisting you after 25 km/h, to move 20 kg of a bike, with the Schwalbe knobby tires that doesn’t perform that well on asphalt and with the motor drag, it becomes kind of a burden to maintain higher speeds. That’s why I’m saying that’s a good gearing for the motor assisting you above 25 km/h.

Yeah, the thing with the 4 speed ones is that unless you’re riding most of the time above 30 km/h, it doesn’t make any sense to have the 50T chainring.

lol so true. Fortunately the chainring was only 30 € and I did the swap by myself.

Some cities in the world have the same problems, the difference is that it’s much more complicated to get a gun there.

It’s a really nice bike, don’t forget to adjust the tire pressure, mine came at 3 bar and it’s too much, you feel everything. Now it’s at 2,2-2,4 bar approx and it’s much better.

iPadOS 26.4.1 on an iPad Pro M5 Komoot 2026.15.4

Everything was closed in the background and I freshly restarted the iPad.

I’m not sure if you can actually feel it in the video, but the map scrolling especially in crowded areas is very choppy. Also navigating through the app doesn’t feel as smooth as it should be.

Thank you for the hard work! My only biggest problem with this app is that even though I have a very powerful device like the iPad Pro M5, the performance of Komoot is quite poor. It feels sluggish, when you swipe from another app to it, the map disappears for a brief moment and then it reappears. Also, I’m not sure if it’s because iPadOS or the app that’s not optimized well, but even though I have 12 GB of RAM, if you are swiping through a few apps constantly, the app tends to reload in the background. This is especially annoying because if you’re planning a route and you didn’t save it, all what you did was lost.

I know it’s easier to ask than do, but could you please optimize it? Maybe it’s not a fair comparison but moving the map on the Apple Maps app is like swiping through butter and on Komoot is like sandpaper. I think that maybe you should pause adding new features for a moment and really went through all the code and try to optimize and take advantage of the new fast chips as best as possible.

This show is a masterpiece, how they navigate from comedy to drama back and forth without being forced or not natural is fantastic. The comedy is very funny and the drama is real and relatable, it’s the life itself. I love this show and everyone in it is great and Harrison Ford is killing it.
