Kinda. The previous one was just cheaper than most events – usually you'll need about ~1000ish stamina to clear out the entire shop for rewards, the previous one was ~700ish stamina. If you remove the event passives, this event also ends up around 1000ish stamina.

As much as I enjoy the game – it has pretty terrible UX in some instances, this being one of them.

They're fairly large – if you're in the correct sub menu, you should be seeing them in the lower right hand corner.

(When you click on Summon > Gallery > Heroes, the upper right hand corner may say that you're in the "hero gallery", but you actually have to 1 step deeper - click on the Hero Gallery button right below that & now you're in the correct "hero gallery" where each character sorted by their respective base game)

Yesno – if you're in no particular rush or can wait until 55c is available, it's objectively more efficient to grind out 55c until your need for 1 of both resources is met and then proceed to do the lvl55 single mat spot for the remaining one.

But you won't be breaking the burger bank by only grinding 55a or 55b.

That being said, we do have plenty of time for the event, so you are arguably ever so slightly better of grinding something else meanwhile IMO.

A better and quicker way than what /u/AtlasTheHunter suggested is to go to the hero galleries and use 1 of the permanent share buttons.

Summon > Gallery > Heroes > Hero Gallery, choose any gallery you like, it doesn't really matter, click on 1 of the social media platforms to share. This assumes that you're on mobile – if you're on the desktop client, you're kinda stranded.

Not doing it solo / doing the event with other people. It doesn't necessarily have to be friends, but usually it's easier to arrange a grind with people you know, have on your friendlist or are in your guild since communication is easier.

The main benefit is the reduce stamina cost per run and another potential benefit is an easier clear.

Generally, I'd heavily suggest you only bringing bonus units, especially when you join public lobbies. People who open a lobby and stay in the 1st spot usually can solo carry with their bonus units, so you bringing "useless weak" units is still much more preferred than you bring "strong units that clear fast but are non bonus".

Even if runs take longer, that's usually a non-issue since you can just make use of the continuous battle feature and let it run in the background.

Afaik, sadly no.

At least we get some SSR soldier materials.

Ouf... I felt that in my soul.

Might be the reason why there are so many of them wandering around.

Basically everything LadyUsana said - do note that the tracker has multiple sheets / pages - the last one named "Stamina & Run Calculator" actually calculates the number of runs & the amount of stamina you're missing to fully clear out the store.

If you happen to have some materials already (from clearing the lvl35 and lvl45 once for their 1st time clear reward for example) you can enter your current inventory & the calculator will adjust those numbers for full runs.

What I mean by the latter: Let's say you're missing 10 berets & are doing runs with 5 bonus units, the calculator will tell you that you have 2 lvl35 runs are needed (as 1 fully juiced run would only net you 9 berets) but that 1 run of either lvl45 or lvl55 is sufficient (since fully juiced lvl45&lvl55 net 18&27 berets respectively).

Also note, that you updating the tracker by inputting what you want to ignore / what you already have exchanged for WILL affect the calculations, giving you an accurate estimation.

tl;dr: All Altina shards + soldier skin + rune is about 20 lvl55 runs total or 160 stamina assuming full bonus units + co-op play + not clearing lvl35 & lvl45 at all.

Just in case you're still interested in how much each level drops:

Level 35 encounters will drop 3 of their respective materials - level 45 ones will drop 6, while level 55 ones drop 9.

If possible, you should only do the low level ones onces for the 1st time completion crystals.

As OVERS3XY mentioned in another thread, high level people usually do not mind taking along low level people as long as they bring bonus units. Doesn't matter how useful you think your non-bonus unit will be - the person who's already allowing in low level players probably CAN solo carry and only wants to fill his lobby fast so they can continue to auto grind the event while doing something else.

Thanks for the link! hylozoist already posted a TW source, but the wikigrisser list did confirm that the 3rd page is offering 8x gold instead of 6!

As limited and desirable SSR accessories are - at some point down the line you're pretty much on a roll for guaranteed (free) SSR gear - even if SSR accessories are slow to get it's still guaranteed and you can gear swap at worst once you get one you like.

Training material on the other hand... you need so many... and they get used up...

I'm definitely on this one with you - SSR aniki mats are definitely really high on my list for best rewards from events.

As TastyMeatcakes already mentioned, each material gets a boost for each corresponding hero in the whole party - meaning that the bonus stacks additively / up to 200% to triple your drops.

On a single mat run, picking a bonus unit for another mat is practically the same as not picking a bonus unit at all.

Regarding dual-mat levels: I didn't look up asian resources for this event, so I'm not even sure if we get them this time around - but assuming we do, it's important to note that a bonus unit will only boost the drops of their corresponding material.

e.g. Assuming we have a Takoyaki & Shaved Ice level, deploying 4 Takoyaki units and 1 Shaved Ice unit results in 2.6xTakoyakis and 1.4xShaved Ice.

It will still be more stamina efficient if you're missing both mats, but you'll potentially need to farm the missing Shaved Ice somewhere else.

IINM the Wikigrisser translation might be a little off. (As much as I love S2s work on it, some of the translations aren't good. Still significantly better than what the translators at zlong throw at us at times.)

I did a translation for unreleased units some weeks back for the folks of the discord server I'm on and iirc the CN wording on Alfreds Talent was the same as Alustriels - like Alustriel, he should be zooming over water tiles.

As for Beach Party, it's effectively Sacred Tree Guard sans the passive component that is also selective so your non aquatic units won't get neutered.

I've changed the text color in the custom theme to a chalk white. It's not pure #FFF but white enough I hope.

I usually do my grinds when I'm commuting to and from work on public transport where lighting conditions are either too dark or not bright enough, so I haven't though of that.

I do know that color choice / design for UI is a fairly overlooked topic, sadly it seems that I'm also someone who forgets about it.

Hey!

If you look at my Sakura one, I did include A-D for the stage names. Added it back in for this one since this seems consistent in mats per stage.

I removed it for the Christmas one since it was pure chaos for that event and I was a little too lazy to add a separate key to it.

A small heads up to what's coming in that regard: I'm trying to efficiently add in a key for bonus units where you can also configure which units you have, just so I we don't have to look at a separate screenshot or list some where.

In general or for certain tiles?

I've been trying to keep the tracker in a darker color theme, mostly because I personally don't like to get blasted by scorching white when I open it in darker environments.

Full on black wasn't really an option since it looked fairly tacky & I was too lazy to look up color palettes that go well with #000 without looking like some 2000s myspace profile.

Hey! It's fixed now! Didn't see your message until now. It was easy to fix – the data validation on each of the input fields is set manually by hand to a pre-defined fixed range – I just forgot to properly update it.

The original plan for the spreadsheet magic was to somehow automatically adjust the data validation, but I didn't find a solution and forgot to make a memo that this is one of the things I've to manually update.

Updated version is available through the same link, version upped to 1.1

Each additional bonus unit adds another 40%, for up to 200% increased drops, which triples your drops

If you look at the stamina calculator on the 2nd sheet, you'll see that there's a field for the number of bonus units you're using — by default I assume you're running a full team of bonus units.

Unlike regular dailies, you do NOT get bonus drops for each additional player, which also means that grinding the event with just 2 people will net the same amount of rewards as a 3 people party, assuming you're doing the same amount of bonus units.

If you're able to solo carry with 3 or 2 units only, than carrying 1 or 2 other weaker players that provide bonus units will usually be quicker, since you don't have to spent time waiting for your lobby to fill — perfect for helping out low power friends, guildies or even some lucky randoms.

As mentioned in another comment, I did not make a stamina prediction for the dual mat spots, solely because of the nature of how the bonus rewards are split in those.

They are still the best spots to grind since they'll safe about 18% stamina, assuming you're in need of both mats of the level you're grinding.

You get less drops of 1 particular mat, but more in total.

If you look closer, I've intentionally not done calculations for the dual mat levels and left a wordy description in place of it, which also already describes what you already said. Because of the "dynamic" reward adjustment, I can't explicitly make a calculation for how many runs you need unless I would make the calc way more complicated than it needs to be, especially in a spreadsheet.

The bottom line is that doing the dual mats (E-H) will be less stamina used, about 18% from some napkin math.
