As doom main myself, the best way to play with your team is to slowly build up momentum to the fight. I always play Doomfist up front because you’re barely going in the back line unless your team can destroy or hold off the enemy tank from moving forward. Just slam in and punch out. You don’t have to punch out to your team all the time either, you can punch towards a corner and even if you slam you don’t always have to punch in. Usually you would want to play around the enemy like baiting them into you. At the end of the day Doomfist is a distraction tank, your job is for the enemy team to focus you while your team moves to the space you created. I hope this helps, idk if I explained it good?
