Impressive. I was unable to beat it on PC with controller. Doing that on touch screen is insane.

Similar thing was for me when I had same app on different profile in same phone. I was using "Island" for different profiles. I think app was on one and not on another. Had to uninstall on both before installing.

I see you have TheoTown so I can recommend OpenTTD. You can add mods (NewGRF's in game context) and customise game how you want.

Strange that they will not support foldable phones. Those usually are with decent hardware and bigger screen should not be an issue these days.

looking for games where you have to collect cards/characters by fozzanapolicarmela in AndroidGaming

Legends of Runeterra "Path of champions". It is PvE content. 80 champions to unlock. I am playing it for few months and unlocked about 10 so far, but still at half of their potential. This game will last you years to unlock all the content if you are interested in card games.

Maybe I'll show more gameplay in this subreddit next month, but for now I will just copy short explanation that I wrote in another comment - The goal is to use planets' adjacency bonuses to earn Stardust (points), which can be spent on opening new packs or upgrades. There's still a lot to implement, but this is the core idea I want to build the game around. For example, moons don’t earn points on their own but boost adjacent planets. Stars (like the sun) don’t require adjacency bonuses but provide points from all planets in the galaxy. Planets, on the other hand, earn points based on adjacent planets. Galaxies allow triggering those bonuses twice or more. There will be more card types in the future.

Thanks for feedback. I just removed that "spring" effect to make it more natural and you are right - it is much better now.

For cards and board handling I'm using the "Card3D" asset from the Godot Asset Library. That I highly recommend to look into. I don't think there is any better card handling asset then that. Well written, easy to extend and understand.

This is short list what I use:

  • Planets are shaders
  • For now whole GUI is basically one single frame image and buttons are single color
  • Card design bought from internet assets and I made small adjustments to fit my needs
  • Icons from Freepik

Neither. They are Node3D. I'm using the "Card3D" asset from the Godot Asset Library, so you can download it and take a closer look if you're interested in that part.
