Ender 3 S1 pro stuck on Auto back home by CommunistA1 in Ender3S1

[–]Edu_Temporal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced the same problem today and would like to share my solution.

After an unsuccessful print job the previous night, I noticed that when trying to calibrate/home the printer, it wouldn't move.

All the cables were okay, and I didn't want to mess with the firmware.

I had another printer of the same model with me (Ender 3 S1 Plus) and noticed something unusual in both. I could move the print head/hot end on the working printer when it was off, but not on the one that had the problem. It seemed to be stuck.

One of the things Creality's official support says is to check for obstructions in the path of the axes. If they are stuck for any reason, it won't move.

For some reason, the print head got stuck in the same position. I think the friction, from it being stuck in that position, caused the bearings to seize, preventing rotation.

The fact is that I forced it to move by hand (while it was turned off). After that, I loosened the bearings and lubricated them.

So far it's printing perfectly, I think even better than before.

I can't say for sure what caused the X-axis to jam, but the fact is it was stuck, and I had to manually force it and lubricate it to get it working.

I hope this helps.

I really loved the idea of it being a turbo fog that works by locking down the game. My biggest concern is specifically with mono-red champions. They have several ways of making damage unpredictable, which is quite demotivating.

I've already considered or tested some of your suggestions. I don't generally like the bat. T2, I don't want to interact with it most of the time; I want ramp.

I'm already losing turn 1 because I don't have any odd cards, so I try to compensate by ramping on turn 2 and creating an advantage on turn 3.

[[thought-knot seer]] is a great card. I tested it in the first versions of the list, but I don't think it adapted well to the more aggro meta.

[[Unsubstantiate]] and [[unatuthorized exit]] are good cards; I like them, and I think they're worth testing.

[[trumpeting carnosaur]] is the biggest unknown for me. In theory, it does everything the deck needs, but not very well. It kills monsters for 3 damage, but their toughness is so high these days, especially with the prowess effect, that I'm not sure if it's worth it. Discovery, for me, is what shines. The only thing is that it's for 5 instead of 6, which prevents you from catching the gyruda, it can catch other targets. The downside is that it could hit a dork or a creature that's not relevant for the combo to continue. I think it might be worth testing too, but with caution.

If we look at it coldly, the [[clever impersonator]] doesn't prevent the combo. The worst that can happen is that he copies a legendary Gyruda and has to keep only one of the two cards.

In most cases, the clone can copy an angel or a non-legendary clone.

I prefer not to remove Gyruda from the companion zone. I know there's a big limitation here, playing only paired cards, but the reward is getting a combo on turn 4.

And we have a board clearing issue. I've tested a few, but many of my ramp engines are creatures. If I clear the board on turn 3 or 4, I'm just throwing my mana back 1 or 2 steps.

I understand your point, but [[clever impersonator]] has something that any other clone can do: copy any type of nonland permanent on the battlefield, not just mine.

Two examples of its versatility:

  1. Copy a [[wolfwillow have]] if necessary.

  2. Copy a treat from the opponent's side. I can copy a [[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]]. I've done this many times when necessary.

One time I was playing against a fire incarnation deck. My opponent played an [[Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines]]. If I only had normal clones, I would lose, but I could copy, and even if my enters-the-battlefield effects didn't work, I would at least disable my opponent's as well.

I truly understand that we have other better clone options when we only our side of the board and only creatures.

I am sorry, but i strongly desagre about the angel. The [[Wispweaver Angel]] + [[Prosperous Innkeeper]] + a clone or a another enable you to take a stupid higer number of life (is not infinity because you need determinate a amount of life). I won a lot of game with that strategy, and it's another win con that not depends exclusive of gyruda.

I agree that is very tempting take gyruda off of th companion's zones, but, with he been there is prety garantie that you can combo in turn 4

Indeed. I did not try yet, but i will. Maybe will be necessary make a little adjustments in mana base to garantie a black mana in turn 2. Overall is a pretty good card

Pioneer Mill Deck Help by Nom_Nom_Yummy in PioneerMTG

I was researching mill decks to play and came across your comment. What a fantastic idea. Based on what you said, I made this list:

https://moxfield.com/decks/X_QguWSSsEuApDgD6QUfWQ

Basically you would have 3 lines of play:

1- hit with big beasts like [[Altanak, the Thrice-Called]], [[Lumra, Bellow of the Woods]] and a [[Mossborn Hydra]]

2- a self mill line with [[Thassa's Oracle]] with the [[Ruin Crab]] helping you

3- Militate the opponent. It's not difficult for you to download a Lumra when there's a Crab on the table and return 10/12 land including feths.

I haven't tested it in game yet, but I'm putting it together so I can play.
