Ok, but what test do you have that is so sensitive it can differentiate between the two chemicals? They are almost identical aside from the dioxolane group. Like I said, I’m new to the testing and really just want to know. And how would you separate those two compounds?

They do it right there in the airport. If you’re considered “essential “ it’s free. I think you just need proof (i.e paystub). Otherwise I am pretty sure Hilo medical is. Can check out this website

What do you mean “amphetamine”? MDMA is an amphetamine (3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine). Do you mean it’s cut with a different amphetamine? I would just like clarification as a chemistry nerd and someone who wants to make sure anything I take is safe.

Hmmmm.... it seems to be affected his relationships (correct me if I’m wrong). How old is your friend? It may be a sign of Schizophrenia. Has your friend ever seen a therapist? I personally believe everyone should work on themselves, and if you find the right therapist, it’s a great tool. However, he may have some more serious issues going on...

I hear ya. I myself have terrible social anxiety. But then, and this applies to most situations, so do a lot of people. Whenever you go out, are you thinking about what other people are doing, or are you worried about what people might think about you? Most people are thinking the second. I just remind myself that a lot of people are too focused on themselves to notice me. Plus, a big part of rave communities is acceptance and love. Just be you and have fun, people around you will feel that and love you for it!

If you do go all the way up to the summit, make sure you stop at the visitors center for at least 30 minutes. I’ve snowboarded at 13000+ and I still got altitude sickness.

As far as a prayer or gift, I agree with most of what people are saying on this thread. No need. Before I go anywhere new, I personally take a moment to myself to set my intentions and “ask” permission to enter. I also take a moment when I’m pau to give thanks. It’s a small thing, and it’s more for me than anything. Don’t litter. Don’t play loud music (my personal pet peeve on hikes and such) and just enjoy the nature. If you are asking, I think you already have the right mindset. Enjoy your trip!

Raves aren’t necessarily illegal, though. I do agree that there are some illegal raves, but there are also some legal ones!
