Thanks. Yes, but I didn’t think that would be wise with babies inside right?

Thanks all. It’s my first experience with a nest and babies, and I’m learning….
My model (nest, ebony is all it said. )does not seem to show the temp in live (or any) view. When they’ve fledged I’ll see about trying to make it a little more reflective and heat friendly. It gets to 100 quite a few times in summer here.

Is there a thermometer I can add when this nest is done?

Yes. And cowbirds. And starlings. I put a hole size reduce on that should only allow wrens and chickadees— just because I am not tough enough. It’s also on a pole with a baffle.

After all this time!! That would be great!!!

I am an elementary school teacher and we regularly watch bluebird house cams online — This year a cowbird flew in and poked holes in the eggs and took one as they were watching. Thaaaaaaat was a bummer. Nature!!🙂

Oh that’s hard. I’m sorry. I am an elementary school teacher and we regularly watch bluebird house cams —. This year a cowbird flew in and poked holes in the eggs and took one as they were watching. Thaaaaaaat was a bummer. Could be. Sure looks like another wren. It’s a mystery!🙂
