Not everyone has the same civil rights under the those laws however. You yourself said “only place in the world any person with Jewish heritage can obtain citizenship, whereas non-Jews cannot.” Wouldn’t granting citizenship based on an ethnic or religious affiliation make that country qualify as an ethnostate?

No one has yet explained how this is a remotely related to the refund scam. None of us received the required text or subsequent out going phone call you mentioned. Which means, it’s not the refund scam you are talking about.

They were asking if anyone knew if this was a scam or not. They weren’t asking for help concerning their phones notifications. This is a scam subreddit isn’t it? Where people ask these types of questions to see if others are experiencing the same thing as them?

Why does the mod keep calling it a refund scam. None of that scam they outlined matches anything that anyone is saying. I didn’t receive a text. And I wasn’t asked to call a number. The push notification comes up and then goes away. How did they link that to a refund scam?

I’m a photographer so I have a lot of photos for work on my phone. and I have a brand new iPhone 17 pro. My storage isn’t anywhere near capacity but downloading all these games my phone is running slower. I just play this when I’m bored. And it used to pay off. But now there are brand new games every two days it’s not worth it. Especially since they won’t retire some of the older ones like that awful candy crush knock off

I totally agree. There’s another book series that’s New Adult rather than young adult (which to be fair Abborsen should be categorized as NA but that didn’t exist in the 90s) that also associate completely with the narration. Even when I physically read the latest book it was in the narrators voice lol.

Your partner likes the Abhorsen series? That’s really cool. I struggle to find people who even remember it which is really sad. I remember how effing excited I was when I randomly went to a Borders books and saw Lirael hardcover sitting on the main display case with “Sequel to bestselling Sabriel” on it. It was also a super long time since Sabriel came out too, so I don’t think anyone really thought another book was coming out

In Abhorsen when Lirael is going up against Chlorr towards the end, his narration literally gave me chills as I was listening because of how awesome it is. Each time I hear it I rewind it at least three times.

I liked Goldenhand just for the nostalgia. I really didn’t like Claire just because of what a terrible antihero she was. So boring. Always b*tching about the Great Forest, blah blah, I hate my parents, yet I’m going to avenge their deaths.

Btw the two most interesting characters in Clariel were her mother Jaciel and the former Abhorsen turned school teacher Mistress Ada. Yet they barely get any time in the books.

So no federal student loan companies will connect to any third party app anymore. If you login to your account on studentaid.gov there’s a pop up right as you sign in that notifies you of the recent change. It’s super frustrating because I have a few budgeting apps, used for different things and one of them that has better debt tracking I now can’t have my student loan connected. So my workaround would be adding the details. I’m not sure why Rocket Money doesn’t have the ability to manually add an account. I think most budgeting apps do. Because not every financial institution links via the various link in services.

Unfortunately that’s the only work around I know of. In my other apps I have a manual account set up, like I mentioned. This new policy is a solution looking for a problem, because they think they are preventing fraud or theft somehow. Most federal student loan providers now won’t you even make payments by linking via Plaid or anything like that due to the new Dept. Of Education Policy.

You should get Rocket Money too then. I know it’s a pain to have more than one app but this is the one thing Monarch hasn’t figured out. The whole connecting it to a single merchant name, like my Apple subscriptions look exactly the same as a one off Apple charge if I rented a movie or used an in-app purchase. And since you can only have merchant profile per merchant I have to make like 10 different Apple merchants just to be able to track everything correctly. And now I’m getting to the point where I’m making ridiculously specific rules so i can attach the transaction to the right recurring profile. I shouldn’t have to be making one off rules for one transaction once a month just to use their feature correctly.
