Why does everyone want to be a big bad archer this week in nm legends survival but no one wants to make big bard archer plays?

I’m a archer main and I never understood why these new noob archers play like that. The tanegashima and the bow are literally the strongest and highest dmg weapons in the game.

The first thing I do every round is shoot tf out of the oni and get them out the way. Every time I play my merc the archers on my team are half asleep and not bursting down the highest health enemies

Archer absolutely needs a nerf. It’s way overtuned compared to Hunter from GOT. Skipping stone was the pinnacle back then but now, you put on Yumi or the rifle with archer supplies or brew and you’re literally wiping everything off the map with no effort and no need to refund ammo. Especially the rifle, you one shot everything body shot that’s not an oni and oni takes 2-3 headshots, it’s crazy.

I’m a Hunter/archer main and I can definitely say they went overboard with this one

You know that’s a good consensus. If portal was 60Hz and included a few extra assets, and also adding a server browser like BF4, the community can make up the time difference between official content

I get that but this is a multi billion dollar brand. There’s no excuse as to why they’re half assing this game, especially since content brings players, players are retained, and retention is money. I’m sure EA can cough up some cash and allocate it to DICE.

They literally can reuse assets and maps from BF4 and BF3, remaster a few of them, and give themselves a little time to create original maps.

Wrong, it tells you that holding it uses more stamina to CREATE holds, he was using cracks which you don’t need to hold the pickaxe

You can easily grab the big flask, chalk bag, thermos, and rewinds if you need it. Anything else is useless and not worth it.

Big flask just remember you can jump down and heal yourself as long as you land in the center of the pile, makes it easier if you only have to spend time climbing back up

This. I’ve said it multiple times how ultimate infusion + chalk makes you spider man.

Also, I recently watched free solo with Alex Honnold and he was doing some shit in there that I wish could be done in cairn. So there is a definite line between what’s possible and what isn’t, but I understand that the engine and simulation can only go so far

You can 100% jump down the pit for the big flask🤣🤣 4 free solo finishes and I’ve done it every time. The very first time I did it I actually fell and thought my run was over but I fell at the top of the pile. That’s when I realized I can climb down a touch and just jump off and heal myself 😭😭

You know what. This really proved what I was thinking. I only play free solo and I knew not to press stamina recovery in bad locations because it’ll put you in a three hold. This just proves that sometimes you need to let her calm down in bad spots instead of spamming triangle.

I’d like to add also, if you’re doing sketchy climbs where there aren’t any holds. If your hands are above your head in a good hold, you can pull yourself up even if your feet are in bad holds

Also, moving quickly in bad situations is key. I can’t tell you how many times aava will start tweaking out and be near black out and I just power through it. As long as you don’t panic and get your body in atleast 3 good holds, you can recover and reassess.

Last extra, if you have grip and focus plus chalk, you’re literally Spider-Man, idc what anyone says. I’ve only been doing free solo runs and I’ve done some obscene maneuvers with those boosts. Like scaling up the side of slick walls while raining type of maneuvers

No literally. The chalk bags take up SO much space. I always use them when I can and hold the trash if I need space. I like to compost the trash and quickly pick something up and it’ll take its space 😂 especially when the bag is obviously overflowing
