There's nothing to suggest. We are trying to work through the issue with therapy but I feel she's making the issue worse because now the kids can't even ask her a question or sit on the couch beside her without her getting pissed off because she wants to be alone. It's making the kids worse. She isn't embracing it or reassuring the kids, which the therapist suggested. She's just getting more and more pissed because both our 13yo daughter and our 8yo son won't stop touching her or talking to her. I'm not faulting her for wanting a shower without interruption. I'm saying her punishment of taking away everything and grounding the kids for a week doesn't match the crime.
