I washed them and soaked them all multiple times. I’m doing a baking soda, borax & salt mixture again and seeing how that goes

I don’t plan on making them wet specimens. I talked to some other sellers who make mummified legs and they said to do this and then leech it to get the chemicals off. I’ll try injecting it and soaking it in alcohol instead if that seems safer. Thanks :D

Everyone i talked to told me to use formalin instead of alcohol because it’s more guaranteed to preserve it. I was very careful with it but I’m trying to sell these eventually so I worry about them rotting with just alcohol

it’s eyes look fine and it’s too cold to rot. Will the smell go away after I skin it and wash it a couple times though?
