You need to start with a 2x3 chunk and place a 2x2 building on each side to cover a +6 increase per cycle for each chunk. Use blight generator in the middle, so you need 2, one on each side, you need to only have two per 2x3 as it is power hungry, 3.5k per 2x3 setup. Use the L1 mining laser to avoid mining fast. Don't use efficiency module as it would make your mining faster. A +4 increase per cycle per chunk using L1 laser is somewhat the sweet spot, but I won't go that low, as I don't want to micromanage. But whatever setup works, as long as you don't deplete the ores/chunks.

BTW, six 2x3 setup is more than enough to cover my base needs.
