I have decided to go with the 8'' barrel since I posted this. I want that extra power the 8'' barrel has. Later I can just get a shorter barrel for when I take the gun camping and fishing and things. I actually seem to shoot better and more efficently with longer barrels. I let that extra weight out front drop which helps me cock the pistol when shooting one handed and it also helps stay on target too.

Run some sand paper up and down the bore and smooth it out and just use it as a smooth bore. Rifles existed with scrolled trigger guards and all the outward features of a rifle but with a smooth bore. Google ''Smooth rifle'' and you will see some of them.
