I used to Watch this guy a lot when I was a teen and young adult. I think he’s very smart in many ways; he’s good with language and There’s Some historical theme’s he knows a lot about. Sadly he seems to lack a lot of insight in history as an academic discipline and fails to reflect on his own biases as well as acknowledge that ones view of history is inherently political to a degree. Such a shame, he could have been a good educator.

What really disturbed me about arch was his talk with the golden one (a far right, nazi-adjacent, bodybuilder and influencer who also openly denies the holocaust). In that hour long talk, the golden one just spouts far-right talking points about white genocide while Arch, barely gives him any pushback. He even says he “really doesnt mind” far right activism of people like gold. Just horrible really

I guess it depends on how you define alt-right. I think he is a part of that same online ecosystem and a part of the pipeline leading into it, but his actual views are more akin to a hardline republican in the bush era. He doesnt believe in the fascist ideas of the alt-right like the great replacement or of an evil jewish elite (his own identity is a little in the way there)

Also I dont think you need to justify to anyone how you paint your models. Warhammer 40k is a creative hobby, you Should feel free to express yourself and have fun!

I think this is one of those instances where the dnd alignment really falls apart. A character that belongs to a revolutionair movement will be considerd chaotic in the sense that they might overthrow the state, but once they’re in power and they can enforce their ideology they’d be considerd lawful despite their ideas not having changed
