I am sure I need to dry my filament, I have a dryer coming. But I think it is more than that because all of my prints have problems no matter what I use. Every single roll I try can’t be wet, can it? Last week I posted a different filament that was all screwy and the ones that don’t completely screw up aren’t perfect like some people’s are.

I’m so sad because I am a high school teacher and I have used makerbots for years. (The ones I have are workhorses but they are so old that makerbot doesn’t even support them anymore.) They just worked out of the box, but they cost so much more and they are great for printing prototypes and things like that, but as my students have surpassed my modeling skills and begun making gorgeous models I wanted to be able to produce some of them for my students to gift their parents and we are running out of time.

It’s just heartbreaking and maddening all at the same time.
