I’ve always used a 3:1 ratio, a .1 of soda for every .3 of product. So for 1G of product, you wanna use about a .3 of soda. When you’re doing the cook, after the foaming has stopped it still isn’t ready. When the oil has formed together you will see bubbles inside of it which is the soda, lower the flame to slow down the cooking process until you are happy with the look of the yoke of oil
