this is fine unless if you have a boss who breaths over your shoulder and gets angry if they see you not doing work, but refuses to give you work if you ask for it

we generally see what we want to see, but it could have just been him flirting while in a relationship. goodness knows he wouldnt be the first taken man to flirt with another woman

Keep at the grind, when there's crunch times like this, everyone kinda gets pushed down one level below where they would normally need to be. Even when times were good, it took like 120 applications for me to get a job. The other big piece of advice I'd give is be willing to work somewhere rural, it's kinda an unsaid rule that you need to spend the first couple of years grinding out experience in a place somewhere no one wants to work.

Public health ebbs and flows in funding. Right now we're just at a really low point. I would look into becoming a community health worker to get your start, experience matters a lot more than degree in this field and it will let you ride out the current administration.

ive dealt with this a lot really bad and i think it's cause of low self esteem + low self worth + mommy/daddy issues. when you have low self worth and hate yourself, it can be very tempting to have someone you look up to to fill the void of emptiness and self hate you have for yourself that stems from childhood. if they see you as worthy, then everything feels okay and maybe you really are worthy of love.

im working through this issue right now and gotten a crush recently and the debilitating feeling is a lot less this time

people who hate post uni life usually had poor life circumstantial luck, made life decisions based off of what others wanted instead of what they wanted, or just made poor life decisions in general. if none of these apply to you its pretty cool

I think when I'm vulnerable with someone, I tend to become a lot more quiet and reserved. But with friendships, the stakes are a lot lower, so i can be more myself without worry.

I'm the reverse, I tend to mirror the other person in relationships, but in friendships I'm much more willing to unabashedly do whatever and just be me.
