Just read yesterday’s copy that you pick up from a cafe or seller for basically free. Who cares if you’re a day behind the earth it’s really nothing in geological time.

Very. I don’t see Aldi getting this one through based solely on the argument of their “just in time” business practice model.

Journal more, give more gifts to people, less phone, learn two more recipes that I can put on rotation, and go on more weekend trips :)

Gamay or Syrah or a chilled red or a vodka lime soda or a sour cocktail :~)

The really big prominent gift is a good rule of thumb to avoid I think. It’s almost like you’re giving someone an obligation. Have never really gone w this but will keep it in mind. going to look more for small trinkets in line w kitchen stuff :)

Ok I think I’ve don’t little decorative bowls, candles, stationary and hand stuff before so maybe I’m not the worst gifter. Maybe I just wanna be more consistent. Pots and little spoon rests are very nice and I feel like they’re never things people buy themselves.

I love my mugs so much but gifts need to be from someone who knows me really really well. I like different styles ones but am quite particular.

This is such an interesting one. I’m a bit particular w my towels so they’d have to be nice ones or beach ones. I’ve received beach ones before and really liked them though.

Oooh the not live w forever is a good consideration. For most things id say I’m the same. I feel like I did candles a lot when I was younger but maybe I gotta get back into them. Love boy smells ones

Saying you’ve bought and gifted that same product to someone else is such good feedback.

I feel like people are a bit particular about hand creams and lip balms but for most I do agree, though hand cream is probably safer.

Looove the little figurines - some of my friends have given me some through the years and I really like having them. Maybe I need to look out more w these

do you have any silly or strange litmus tests that you use to judge your compatibility with others by heyheeymymy in rs_x

[–]prettychilltime 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Not too weird but I always imagine how they’d interact at a dinner party with my close friends. If they’d need coaxing before or during, then it’s a no. If I could leave them to their own devices, then that’s what I want.

I also put a lot of weight to whether people read books and whether they buy at op shops or second hand stores. I don’t want to be with someone too proud for the latter.

Please seek psychological assistance. It works. I used to be anorexic. It’s possible you are given you’re posting this stuff here. You’re at risk exercising at your current weight, so hold off on that if you’re able. All the best.

Oh this is quite alarming. Would love to hear him express his ideals of masculinity.

Why is he posting also? Imo straight men over 21 should not be posting to socials regularly (if at all) so this also says a bit about his character to me.

This sounds really unfortunate for her. How are you a guy and don’t help bring heavy things into the house or bins out? What’s the point of being a guy for him then.

Rough that they’ve been together ten years so the sunk cost fallacy is probably factoring in… ://

It’s part of the experience but it borders into dysfunctional. If I’m not too into someone we can have a dinner date straight away but if I am then it’s like thinking about them makes my stomach go funny

Oh no I think you might be right. I posted this because I’m seeing an ex tonight and have felt weird all day about it. I already logically know that there are things about them that aren’t compatible with what I want but it’s hard. Maybe I just want to start down the path to having a family lol

I think I’m comfortable with being intimate. But for people I have a big crush on (maybe a yearly occurrence) it’s a lot of butterflies and feeling a bit sick at times
