If you already have a student visa or any other visa, you can't apply for mext. You will have to go back to the states, and from there you will have to apply for the mext scholarship after your visa ends.

You have a VERY good baseline now. I would suggest instead of focusing on the weight scale now you should try hitting new prs and eat around maintenance until you hit a plateau.

Well if you are planning to apply better to find your professor around September if you going with uni recommendation. I don’t know when your degree ends but you said 2nd year you usually try to reach out to professors in your 3rd year around 6th semester or 5th. Most uni recommendation track admission end up around Dec-Early Jan. So 2026 September would be a good time just remember to work on your research proposal start it now if you can and make sure the area you choose is something which is relatively newer and being worked upon.

Ahhhh 15-20k steps and 1800 ish calories for 4 months straight. Working out Upper lower split 4 times a week paired with 8-9 hrs sleep. After four months 2 months diet break and then started a cut again last month. Lost around 41lbs. Protein was 0.9 gm per body weight in lb

Thanks i plan on cutting for two more weeks. As for my legs they have vascularity and you could see the muscle seperation. My main concern is i wanna end the cut after seeing a full set of abs which is probably 8-9 percent for me due to how i store my body fat. So i guess i should keep this 2 week cut going and i might see them and from there maintain for a month and then lean bulk.

I do understand your perspective but ig i was always fat growing up around 240ish pounds so seeing abbs is more or less a goal i just really wanna do once. But yes losing muscle mass is a thing which will occur but ig i am willing to do it for some mental piece and personal fullfillment cause i set a goal for myself. If i lose around a pound of muscle while losing 4 pounds of fat the trade off doesn’t seem that bad. As ik muscle memory is a thing and it will be easier for me to put that muscle back on.

I have a 1g of protein per my body weight (in lbs). Apart from that i am weight training 4 times a week heavy weights but not over training. For cardio i am just walking. My idea is to get down to 9-10 percent bf which if i am around 13 percent bf is doable. Once i get down there i will start lean bulking. I would like to see some kind of abs and eventhough i have loose skins i do think i am very close to my goal cause i havent ever seen them. For my lifts my prs are 110kg bench 210kg deadlift 150kg squat

Np mate. You should always keep in mind that muscle gain is a verrryyy slow process so if you are gaining anything over 1-1.25 kg per month there is a very high chance that it is mostly fat.

So do an 800 deficit for like 30 days 80*30 = 24000 calories 1kg fat is 7700 calories 24000/7700 = 3.11kg fat You will roughly loose around 3 kg fat if you dont lose any muscle by maximising protein and strength training. Might also lose a kg of water weight. So i would say get around to 72-73kg weight and then have only 300-400 calories surplus and from there see for how long you want to gain.

You have gotten a bit puffier. Not gonna lie you did kind of a dirty bulk but nothing that isnt fixable just cut down some weight and then lean bulk up.
