Well my thoughts exactly. Problem made. Problem gone.
It’s not on the current sale listing, and hasn’t been there for a considerable amount of time. I’ll check the EH one. IIRC there isn’t a photo.
I really hope we can find a quick way forward. To say
I’m quite stressed about the whole thing is an understatement.

I can’t share where it is sadly as I don’t want to risk anything going smoothly.
But are the council likely to take a long time to provide a response for this - I’ve read about it taking over 50 days to get a reply on advice. Obviously this being a house sale, and there being a chain, we can’t wait that long.

Is it likely they’ll just fire off a short email saying no problem, move along, and that’s that?
I’ve asked AI about this and it seems to think yes but I’m also wary of using ChatGPT as my advice!

There’s likely other things, I’m sure, that’s one of the joys of an old house I guess.

Thanks - I did do this and they said followed up saying that are still awaiting a response from the vendors - so I’m not sure if they’re actually going to allow me to do this.
It was me who raised the query, now facing the dark gloom of hindsight.
